Yes, but you can get away with murder once people know you're cute.

(Booth's elephant memory scares me sometimes)

"Oh, you're that idiot who posts way too much every day on the Gazette!  My, I didn't realize you would be so handsome in person."

We all said kind of the same thing about Hyde his first year. In fact, Hyde even got play with a cute girl his "virgin year" - despite his prior Zette antics (which were far more outrageous than yours, j.)
Saying that you make my keyboard sticky is a compliment, can't you seeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Post above went over my head.

Have you ever been to a Fest, Booth (so you could celebrate Season One)?

First half, not first season. And no I haven't been, I don't love the show that much.

Do you think anything will get stolen at the Fest this year?

Is it okay if I come dressed as Nathan Lane's character from Austin Powers - Goldmember?

PS - I will be in character too.

Have booked tickets for the fest this year, and as a first timer was wondering when do the guests get announced?

I think one of my favorite "sales pitches" from Nefud was about five years ago, when some random new guy showed up to the fest forum (when it was still located here at the Gazette) and was complaining about the ticket price saying it didn't seem worth it and it was so expensive. And Nefud replied "OMG NOOB SAVE UR ALLOWANCE MORE" :D

I actually have that thread saved on disc at home (no, it's not some creepy stalker thing...I have all of the old fest forum threads starting from 2004 on)...

it's seriously pretty cheap for what you get imo

maybe people are trying to compare it to a comic con in their head but that's a really bad analogy because there's a really nice catered meal, bus tour, a movie (in an actual theater), and probably other things i'm forgetting ON TOP OF the usual sillyness like the costume contest, guests of honor, etc. that a lot of other convention-type events have.

not to mention that if the legends are true the fest usually ends up costing the organizers money so what an attendee actually pays is literally less than cost. it's like if you went into mcdonalds and got a hamburger for 5 cents cheaper than what it cost them in time and materials

Do you think if I propose to Kimmy Robertson at the Fest, she will say yes?

I think that's coolsprings' pattern. "I am going to do something" *doesn't do it*.

What the heck (read F) does communicating in a thread have to do with commerce?
