QUOTE:

Bobby: Cross your fingers, cross your toes. This is the big time. Whoo! Later.

I love that one. Good call.

Another one:
Bobby: Too bad we can only kill him once.

My favourite scripted but unfilmed (or cut) line:
Cooper: Luck. The residue of hard work.

QUOTE:

QUOTE:Albert: While I will admit to a certain cynicism, the fact is that I’m a nay-sayer and a hatchetman in the fight against violence. I pride myself in taking a punch and I’ll gladly take another because I choose to live my life in the company of Ghandi and King. My concern is global. I reject, absolutely, revenge, aggression and retaliation. The foundation of such a method... is love. I love you, Sheriff.

My favourite quote of the whole series.

I, too, like Albert's cutting bon mots. But am I the only one who has trouble buying his transition from uncensored wise-ass to Ghandi, Jr.?   It almost seems like his way of rationalizing & apologizing is to baffle 'em with bullshit.

I'd have to disagree with you there.

Jerry: "*sigh* I'm depressed..."

The sound wind makes through the pines. The sentience of animals. What we fear and what lies beyond the darkness.

I love Jack Nance's expression when he says that. It's like he's trying to surprise himself.

"HOW'S ANNIE?!?!"

And there's something so creepy about the way Jerry says to Blackie, holding the light over her face. "You used to be so pretty..."

"I have this thing for knives...just like what happened to you in Pittsburgh, huh, Cooper?!"

"I ran out of tunafish."

"Come on Bobby, gimme a name! Here's a hint. First initial J.", "No. She wouldn't do that to me.", "You didn't love her anyway. Let him go."

Oooh....good one.

Coop to Harry: "Can I ask her about her log?", "Many have."

Coop to Harry again: "I don't know...the beard ruins the effect of the lingerie..." , "The guy's no Georgia peach." or Doc's, "Good NIGHT!" LOL

"Sheriff, get your mind off Shelly-- for a moment."

***

I see what he means about Albert, OSF. The pacifist thing doesn't justify Albert's prior insults. "You always hurt the ones you love," doesn't seem to cut it. Not to speak on behalf of anyone, but "Albert's path is a strange and difficult one," is kind of a cop out. On the other hand, maybe he's insulting right off the bat because he assumes people who move slowly (like Lucy) think slowly (and Kimmy protests that Lucy is slow) and couldn't possibly understand Albert's non-violent, ultra-efficient philosophy of peace enforcement. And he seems to expect physical violence out of rednecks, er, country folk, "The old rustic sucker punch. ..Hail of bullets would be nice!" and so continues to be a dickhead to Harry until he realizes his antagonism may lead to further violence ("the next time it'll be a real pleasure."). It's hard to reconcile his judgmental attitude with his love of his fellow man, though. Eh, whatever. Albert has all the best lines.

Don't know if this one has been said already when Bobby asks Audrey out for ice cream, cup or cone

She says she wants a cone "I like to lick."

"Harry, I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Every day, once a day, give yourself a present. Don't plan it, don't wait for it, just let it happen. Could be a new shirt at the men's store, a catnap in your office chair, or two cups of good, hot, black coffee. Like this."  -Dale Cooper

Ha! I was just thinking of this quote. :)

Gordon: "The word linkage reminds me of sausage! Never cared for the links, preferred the patties! But breakfast is a real good idea!"

And when Coop is trying to get to the bottom of things between Lucy and Andy, just after finding out she was seeing Dick Tremayne... "Are you still seeing this...Dick?" Makes me laugh every damn time. :P
