Major Briggs: Don’t be afraid. We’ll all be there together.
Bobby: Afraid of what?
Major Briggs: The funeral.
Bobby: I’m not afraid of any damn funeral. Afraid? I can hardly wait. AFRAID? I’m gonna turn it UP… SIDE… DOWN!
Betty: Everybody ready? (with a bright smile…)

Cooper: You had a big fight with her last week, didn't you?
Bobby: So what? If I had a fight with her, if I sang songs with her, if I went skipping rope with her, what difference does it make? I didn't kill her!

Bobby: Cross your fingers, cross your toes. This is the big time. Whoo! Later.

I'm truly amazed nobody's mentioned

THAT GUM YOU LIKE IS GOING TO COME BACK IN STYLE

I always say it when someone is chewing gum - a very pivotal moment in the series that leads to Cooper solving Laura's murder !

Great Bobby quotes...my two faves from the early episodes

Hawk: That's a good color for him.

Hawk: Two old retired schoolteachers live in that house by the Palmer's. They have no memory of a gray-haired man. I had to drink 3 pots of chamomille tea to find that out, which reminds me, will you excuse me for a minute.

Pete: Grand...theft...auto!

Coop: "That guy's a psychiatrist...?"  I love Jacoby's first scene ("he's got a big mouth and starts talking") and the way Harry tries not to catch his eye as the elevator door closes.

And I love Catherine's line: "Get your boots off my bed and go to your room!"  I'm still waiting for a good opportunity to use that in my own life.  It'll happen eventually.

Albert: While I will admit to a certain cynicism, the fact is that I’m a nay-sayer and a hatchetman in the fight against violence. I pride myself in taking a punch and I’ll gladly take another because I choose to live my life in the company of Ghandi and King. My concern is global. I reject, absolutely, revenge, aggression and retaliation. The foundation of such a method... is love. I love you, Sheriff.

Milford: Ladies and gentlemen, If I can have your attention, please... (smacks the microphone) Is this thing on?! Is this thing on?!

Milford: What is he selling? What are you selling?

Milford has a lot of great lines. They are not all super funny, but he delivers them perfect.

I have always found Albert to be the funniest character on the show...probably the funniest character on any dramatic show. His lines are all delivered with such a cynic zeal that I can't help but laugh.

Albert: "...my concerns are global." is a great one. Probably my favorite line in the series.

Albert: "Where do they keep his water dish?"

Albert: "Practice walking without your knuckles dragging on the ground." (or something close to that in response to Harry)

My favourite quote of the whole series.
