Is there such a scene in TP/FWWM that has made you cry,and which is it?For me the most powerful scene in TP is the funeral of Laura,it was so sad when Leland lied on his daughter's coffin :( Every time I watch this scene I cry a lot,and also when Sarah Palmer screams when she hears that Laura's gone....She was so sad and horrored.Mother's pain is strong....

And in FWWM the scene when Laura jumps out of the motorbike and then huggs James strongly and screams "I love you,Jaaaames!" It is just the best!

What about you?

When I call out no one can hear me,when I whisper he thinks the message is for him only..my little voice inside my throat,I always think there must be something that I've done or something I can do...But no one no one comes to help,he says,a little girl like you...

Ending of episode 14, and when Leland dies. Coop's "Into the light" speech...wow. I get a little misty when Leland starts dancing when Coop and Hawk are having a beer at the Great Northern. His choked, "Home," is just heartwrenching. And the talk between Coop and Hawk about dream souls...very touching. "Is that where Laura is?" "Laura's in the ground, Agent Cooper, that's the one thing I'm sure of." You think of Laura there...and the sadness of it all...

the scene where Donna realizes that Laura is dead gets me everytime.

In FWWM when Laura realizes that Bob is her dad, when she comes home and sees him walking out the door, that's another one.

That phone call scene is sad although I think they show Sarah's agony a bit too long.

But that "I love you James" in FWWM is definitely the saddest thing in the whole Twin Peaks saga. I always get goosebumps from it.

The scene where Donna looks at James and they both realize that something bad has happened to Laura gets me into tears also... I actually once saw a dream about that scene. I woke up very very sad.

No, I don't think anything in Twin Peaks makes me cry.  Maybe just because I've seen them all so much now I know what's coming and they don't really affect me anymore.   Plus I'm not the cry easily type.

There are a few scenes that have made me throw things at the screen though.  Maddy's murder was one.  Like screaming "for god's sake someone rescue her!!!" kind of emotions..

When Harry was crying about Josie's death and he hugs Cooper that is one of the most moving scenes for me,  but it still doesn't make me cry.

I think the only time I have ever REALLY cried about Twin Peaks was when I found out it wasn't coming back for a 3rd series.......... a mix between and, if you can imagine that.  Angry tears...

"watch out for my cousin.."

I've gotten teary-eyed several times with the ending of ep.14 too, specifically with "The World Spins" and Droolcup saying "I'm so sorry". The most emotional moment from the whole series IMO... And the best IMO...

Leland's death too, but not so much. Other moments from Lynch movies which made me cry are "The Elephant Man"'s ending and listening to "Llorando" in MD...

the scene in FWWM where they remove Teresa's fingernail makes me always cry, close my eyes and say "is it over yet? can I open my eyes now?"

The scene were pricipal Wolceck (???) make the announcement about Lauras death. So that includes Donna ect

But like Maddy I´ve seen it so many times that I´ve gotten used to those scenes. Like Maddys murder/The Roadhouse. Powerful scenes but they don´t make me upset like that anymore

The very last scene of FWWM - Laura is sitting and Coop is standing at her side with his hand on her shoulder.  She looks so sad, and then the angel appears and she's laughing and crying.  What does it signify?  Forgiveness?  Has the angel from her picture returned to watch over her?  Is it perhaps the image Leland sees of Laura as he dies, also with Coop at his side?  It always gets me a bit misty-eyed.

I'll go with smeds and Ditte on this one. As I've posted before ("Which is your favourite scene..." thread, page 1), the pilot scenes with the announcement of Laura's death and the Sarah Palmer's reaction on the film. I think the idea is that that scene is raw and difficult to watch. I find those scenes touching.

I try not to watch TP too often, so it feels fresh and the emotional impact isn't blunted. If I watch that announcement scene and my mind is wondering, then I will know I have to watch TP less often.

I cry a lot if I'm in the right state of mind watching TP.

* I bawled like an infant the first time I saw BOB in Cooper's mirror- for like TWO DAYS

* Leland's confession to the murder of Jaques

* I sometimes get teary when Sarah is telling Harry and Andy her last words to Laura were "good night, sweetheart."- oh and at Leland's wake when she's talking to Eileen about Laura and Donna's bond against dying (god, I love Grace.)

* The scene Gordon mentioned, during Maddy's murder, at the Roadhouse

The last time through, I cried....:

a) when Donna tells James that Maddy's dead, and he leaves her in tears.

b) when James asks Donna to go away with him and she tells him to go alone

c)  when Audrey is crying about Jack leaving

Does anyone get upset seeing Nadine take the pills?  That one has affected me, too

I recall sitting next to someone when we screened FWWM at the Seattle Art Museum who starting crying when the Twin Peaks theme plays, the first time we see Laura.

the pilot had lots of powerful scenes, especially the phone call, the announcementat school/donna crying

leland falling on the grave is just incredible. some of the best acting i have ever seen.

There's another TP scene which made me cry but when I was a little girl, and it was cry of anger and just like Maddy said,I was so angry that I wanted to throw something on the screen

The scene at the end of ep.29 when Coop breaks his head into the mirror and sees Bob there.I was so shocked then, that I didn't want to believe it was the final episode!I wanted to break my head just like Cooper did For me the movie could not end this way!I cried a lot,and even called our television to ask them if they were quite sure that this was really the final episode, lol!I was very disappointed that my hero had become an evil :( but now ,as I said before, I can clearly understand the idea of the film. It's still the best for me and I love it even if it ends this way.I am still in love with TWIN PEAKS

there are at least 5 different scenes in FWWM that make me cry a great deal.

The scene with Laura entering the Roadhouse, and Margret stopping her
the scene with Donna naked and Larua freaking out, "not you Donna" etc
the death scene
the end scene on Cooper's lap

and a few more

and then also Leland's death in ep 16

Anyway you look at it FWWM is a tearjerker, but not your average one. "Goodnight, princess." always chokes me up.

From FWWM I find a lot of scenes very emotional; the ending, of course, when Laura is in the classroom and everyone is oblivious of her pain, James' and Laura's last conversation (that final "I love you James!", OMG!), Leland saying to Laura he loves her, etc.

More from the series: when Coop gets from Harry the green butt skunk and the BB patch, Harry's "I don't understand, there's a lot I don't understand" in the Bookhouse, when everyone is laughing at Leland and his dances and Audrey is crying in a corner, Hawk and Coop taking Leland home after they've discussed the soul,...

The times I feel I'm welling up are almost always the same 3 occasions. First, the episode where Maddy is murdered. So many reasons why this makes me blub - partly because I consider this to be the crescendo point of the greatest TV show ever made, partly because Coop hasn't been able to prevent the murder (which is, after all, his raison d'etre), partly because everybody in the Roadhouse is crying! Second, Laura's last day at school in FWWM - the way time seems to be speeding her towards her death. Sorry to be morose, but it kind of evokes the idea that you never realise how good things are when you're a kid, until it's too late. Thirdly, the afore-mentioned shot of Laura and Coop at the end of FWWM - the two key protagonists, brought together at last, but for all the wrong reasons.

Ya - I think it's probably just that you don't cry easily, because I've seen every single ep at least 20 times, and if anything, the sad moments get even sadder with time. Especially, like I say, the thought that this incredible TV show is over forever.....

The announcement of Laura's death is one of the sadest moments to me no matter how many times I watch it.

Also, when Laura discovers Bob is her dad and Maddy gets murdered are some really sad parts too... and creepy...
