How could I have forgotten to mention the Bookhouse Boys Patch scene!?!? Must have been tired...and the "There's a whole lot I don't understand..." scene...the "Questions In A World Of Blue" scene with Laura crying...does anyone else get a little misty when Audrey comes to in the Bookhouse and breaks down in Coop's arms? Another one is when Pete finds out Tajimora is Catherine. "You look terrible...just terrible!!" and hugs the stuffing out of her.

| QUOTE: Ya - I think it's probably just that you don't cry easily, because I've seen every single ep at least 20 times, and if anything, the sad moments get even sadder with time. Especially, like I say, the thought that this incredible TV show is over forever..... |
same with me. The first time I saw FWWM, I got just a little teary eyed once. The second time, I straight out cried 6 times.

you asked about crying so I will answer to this only (I mean that many scenes which are highly emotional don't make me cry at all, best example - the I'm so sorry scene) there is one and only one scene which makes me lose control to some extent STILL, after all these years, and that is Leland's confession... to be more exact - the two moments where Laura Palmer's Theme reaches its climax: she said she'd die before she let... so they made me kill her... what have I done?! ... and I see her... she's beautiful... Both due toRay Wise's acting and the absolutely perfect timing of music and dialogue. Other than that there is probably no scene that would make me cry... or has ever made me cry for that matter. Close are Goodnight princess and the frequently mentioned I love you James! scenes. But I think they are probably too short to really get my tears out :-)

And yet some people call that moment, Leland's death, cheesy... The 2nd best moment in the history of TV...after Maddy's death... Nice to see you coming out the shadows, Bobby-1 Kenobi, did you get my message? Or were you busy ripping flesh from bones and comfortable in that hidden land of unmuffled screams and broken hearts?

well if you consider that there are some people who don't like Twin Peaks at all...
even worse, if you consider that among those people who like Twin Peaks there are some who don't accept the obvious fact that Coop and Annie will marry and he will kill her...

BOBASERA1: I believe in the Gazette. I've always posted my theories in the Gazette, I gave my mind freedom to think any theory about TP. But it developed a theory, a crazy one, about Coop marrying Annie. I didn't protest, I posted it... Then people laughed, found it ridiculous, without any logic or background. My mind suffered and I with it, she was the light of my life and because of that theory it was no longer brilliant... I complained to the mods, like a good Gazetteer, but they wouldn't listen... Disagreeing with me was not a matter of dishonor, they said. And then I thought: "For justice we must go to Don Gordone". DON GORDONE: Why did you go to the mods? Why didn't you come to me first? BOBASERA1: What do you want of me? Tell me anything. But do what I beg you to do... DON GORDONE: What is that? BOBASERA1 (whispering in the Don's ear): I want people to agree with me... DON GORDONE: That I cannot do. BOBASERA1: I'll give you anything you ask. DON GORDONE: We've known each other many years, but this is the first time you tell me your problems with the Gazette, I can't remember the last time that you agreed with me 100% about a theory I wrote. But let's be frank here: you never wanted to agree with me. You found paradise in the Gazette, posted stuff, had some fun. The mods protected you, you didn't need a friend like me. But now you come to me and you say "Don Gordone I want justice for my theory"- But you don't ask with respect. You don't like MD. You don't even think to agree that Star Wars sucks. Instead, you come into this thread and post that completely off-topic, resurrecting a long forgotten issue...
BOBASERA1: Agree with me, Godfather... DON GORDONE: Bobasera1 , Bobasera1, what have I ever done to make you treat me so disrespectfully? Had you come to me saying Earle was the husband Annie was talking about and that Coop will die being single, then this scum that laughed at you would be suffering this very day. And that by chance a man who agrees with Gordone's theories makes enemies, then they become my enemies. And then they would fear you... BOBASERA1: Annie will never marry Coop... Be my friend (kisses his hand) DON GORDONE: Good.

Another one that gets me reaching for the Kleenex is when in episode 3, after Harry suckerpunches Albert, then he and the rest leave, leaving Coop alone with Laura...how Coop gently lifts her hand and places it softly on her chest...then the look of incredible sadness on his face as he looks down at her...excuse me, I'm getting a little verklempt...

You know, I didn't think there was one until tonight.
The scene when Cooper is saying goodbye to Harry Truman and harry gives him the green butt beattle fishing lure and the bookhouse boys patch....
that one got the ol' faucet drippin tonight....

Nothing has quite made me cry... I was pretty close during Maddy's death scene though... That scene was horrible but great at the same time. It's the only scene in TP I never want to see again... although I think it could be the best scene in the whole show. The funeral scene was very sad, Laura's final scene with James in the movie ("I'm already gone, like a turkey through the corn"). I have only seen eps Pilot-14 and the movie though. Oh yeah and the scene where Donna yells at Laura's tomb.

Call me soft, but it is just too disturbing for me to want to see again... for a long time. I'm usually pretty good with creepy and disturbing scenes though... I watched Blue Velvet twice in a very short period of time, and I want to see it again. That murder scene with Maddy is great though... every touch... the white horse, the record player, Leland in the mirror, "It smells like something's burning", The spotlight for the first part, the cleverness and brilliance of the season, Maddy lying in the same spot where she saw the pool of blood earlier.... Lynch at his greatest.
