Sad to see the board go, but to have been able to spam this place under all my various aliases over the years has been a true highpoint in my existence on this planet we call Earth!

Jordan and Kelly, Amanda, Rebel,Ditte, Smokey, Flangella, Gordon, BOB1 I will miss the conversations we had and the fun I had at your expense.  (lol no j/k! )  I will really miss the laughs I got out of some of the topics/conversations with just one jokey/sarcastic comment from the afore mentioned could get me lterally laughing in stitches and brighten up my whole day. :D

I will also miss some of the more heated debates and what I loved most about the Gazette is nobody is afraid to speak their minds, so it doesn't get dull like some other places I've been.

I know I haven't been around much lately, but that is due mainly to personal and family problems that were urgent, as well as my being in hospital again last year.

I think it is a real shame to see the end of the Gazette, but seeing all you've been up to on fb you seem really busy so its' totally understandable and I think it would be selfish of anyone to expect you to drop everything for a message board! However, knowing Kelly and Jordan I know it won't have been a decision you made lightly and you have your reasons, as detailed, which is fair enough.  And as one door closes another one opens..

Also guys please can you let me know when you do archive the old stuff you mentioned how do I go about accessing it, as I'd love to be able to access some of the afored mentioned funny/heated threads. :)

 Yeah I think we all will sweetie, and I'll sure miss you!   (and the fun emoticons I love putting in every post LOL! .

But seriously, I will miss the weekly character threads that Gordon did some time ago, I LOVED those, he worked really hard on them and it was great to participate and always so great to read, how different members interpreted different characters.  Some people's descriptions of characters would literally have me belly laughing so hard I was crying and you know when you get stitches from laughing!

I also LOVED the recipe forum/threads, the Lynch forum and many threads about each film etc etc, the many I..... threads, the times people re wrote different parts of Twin Peaks stories, episodes that they had in their minds, I loved the vivid imagination -- oh there was one in particular where Sam Beckett leapt into Dale Cooper, another thread that went on for aages about doppelgangers and multi-doppelganger threads actually, that subject and indeed the lodge/s all fascinated me greatly.  So I will really miss those I hope I can get some!  I will also miss the many Gordon/BOB1 threads that also usually put a smile on my face.

I also liked how everyone would band together to participate in some debates, some lasting for 60/70 pages that I was proud to be a part of then would go back to read them like whooooaaa I can't believe how long we talked about this!! It's hard to describe exactly which threads I also remember one or two about all our Twin Peaks dreams and people being haunted by BOB and Laura chasing me round a newsagents and her jaw fell off from screaming!!.  And of course I LOVED Project Red Room and I thought all Jordans' theories on there  were great work. :)  I admit I also used to find it funny whenever the admins/mods bollocked someone for behaving like a total tit - unless it was me off course.   But heck, half the time I prolly deserved it.  It's so astounding to me how emotional we could all get about a t.v show.  But because its' Twin Peaks it was worth it and such a fun way to while away the hours, debating with complete strangers. x

I will miss you too, Maddy... But hey, I'm sure we'll meet again in Valhalla...er, I mean other Lynch boards... I'm not much into Facebook, but as I said in my post above you'll find me for sure in Dugpa and other places... Until the Gazette closes definitely I won't decide where to register, but I surely will...

And Bopper! Bopper-1! If you read this, first of all, I know we keep in touch (the horror, the horror!), but c'mon buddy be my nigga () and write some nonsense here in this thread... And look for me in those other message boards... You wouldn't want my life to get boring, would you? (a Star Wars reference... Am I becoming you?).

I'm really sad to learn the end of the Twin Peaks Gazette board, I'm really news here and I don't have participated alot...but it's really a cool place for to learn about Twin Peaks...the design, the discussion, everything is really cool here.

I'm really not a fan of the Dugpa forum (no offense Annie)...I find peoples lot more friendly in twin peaks gazette board... and the dugpa forum is sadly really a dead place too (not really active, less than this forum)...

 the Twin Peaks imdb board is still a cool place imo...sometimes a little chaotic, but still very passionate about the show.

Thank very much for the peoples in this board for the passion for Twin Peaks and David Lynch works in general.

Oh you lovely people. I read the announcement about a month ago and was so saddened to see this place disappear :( But I completely understand where you´re coming from, Jordan and Kelly. Im just glad you kept this place as long as you did :) Good luck to you two.

I joined this place around 2001, I think, when the lovely Rebel invited me over to the board after seeing an article/theory thing I wrote about the Blue Rose. I loved this place from the very beginning. So many intellegent, sweet and funny people from all over the world who shared my passion. It was fantastic! I made some good friends and even met 2 of them. 

I had my baby girl almost 2 years ago and before that I was an active member. Babies/kids sort of takes all of that sparetime you have for this sort of fun.

My best memories of this place were the amazing theories and discussions we had here around early and mid 00´s and of course the crazy April fools day. I was Falkooooooooooor in case you had forgotten :)

That April Fools Day was genius. Some of the names had me in stitches, and because i came on quite late in the day i didn't have a clue what the hell was going on! I agree too, some great memories of this place. Great discussions, and some of the jokey picture threads and wild-as-hell TP theories. Brilliant.

Aw! Ditte I remember that thar! sweet!  just glad Ya did join here. gonna really miss this place so dont get me teary eye darlin. this was the only place I check, cause seein all members esp, back then was hoppin!!! and keepin in touch with people here.
