The boondoogle hits another wave. Daily mail company .co.uk The mini ice age starts here
By David Rose Last updated at 11:17 AM on 10th January 2010 The bitter winter afflicting much of the Northern Hemisphere is only the start of a global trend towards cooler weather that is likely to last for 20 or 30 years, say some of the world’s most eminent climate scientists. Their predictions – based on an analysis of natural cycles in water temperatures in the Pacific and Atlantic oceans – challenge some of the global warming orthodoxy’s most deeply cherished beliefs, such as the claim that the North Pole will be free of ice in summer by 2013.
According to the US National Snow and Ice Data Centre in Colorado, Arctic summer sea ice has increased by 409,000 square miles, or 26 per cent, since 2007 – and even the most committed global warming activists do not dispute this.

The scientists’ predictions also undermine the standard climate computer models, which assert that the warming of the Earth since 1900 has been driven solely by man-made greenhouse gas emissions and will continue as long as carbon dioxide levels rise. They say that their research shows that much of the warming was caused by oceanic cycles when they were in a ‘warm mode’ as opposed to the present ‘cold mode’. This challenge to the widespread view that the planet is on the brink of an irreversible catastrophe is all the greater because the scientists could never be described as global warming ‘deniers’ or sceptics.

This is getting to be the biggest con in history. Yeah, it's getting repetitious but here we go again. Just one more serious slap at the global warming ruse. more deceitful, mistaken evidence of the crap and tax crew. The great science certified 2007 Report( Ooooh it's scientific ! yeah, sure like you can make book on these geeks ) the supposed top gang on the subject are either self interested scum con men or just lousy scientists. some of both I'm sure. C &T -A scare tactic used to the hilt world wide. From The Times January 21, 2010
UN climate chief admits mistake on Himalayan glaciers warningThe UN’s top climate change body has issued an unprecedented apology over its flawed prediction that Himalayan glaciers were likely to disappear by 2035. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) said yesterday that the prediction in its landmark 2007 report was “poorly substantiated” and resulted from a lapse in standards. “In drafting the paragraph in question the clear and well-established standards of evidence, required by the IPCC procedures, were not applied properly,” the panel said. “The chair, vice-chair and co-chairs of the IPCC regret the poor application of IPCC procedures in this instance.” The stunning admission is certain to embolden critics of the panel, already under fire over a separate scandal involving hacked e-mails last year. The 2007 report, which won the panel the Nobel Peace Prize [ what a joke that prize has become, e.g. Algore} said that the probability of Himalayan glaciers “disappearing by the year 2035 and perhaps sooner is very high”. It caused shock in Asia, where about two billion people depend on meltwater from Himalayan glaciers for their fresh water supplies during the dry seasons. ...

This is getting old or should I say cold? and almost routine these days. So, more on the multiple mistakes of many climate scientists. From The Times January 23, 2010
UN climate change expert: there could be more errors in reportJeremy Page, South Asia Correspondent The Indian head of the UN climate change panel defended his position yesterday even as further errors were identified in the panel's assessment of Himalayan glaciers. Dr Rajendra Pachauri dismissed calls for him to resign over the Inter-governmental Panel on Climate Change’s retraction of a prediction that Himalayan glaciers could disappear by 2035. But he admitted that there may have been other errors in the same section of the report, and said that he was considering whether to take action against those responsible. “I know a lot of climate sceptics are after my blood, but I’m in no mood to oblige them,” he told The Times in an interview. “It was a collective failure by a number of people,” he said. “I need to consider what action to take, but that will take several weeks. It’s best to think with a cool head, rather than shoot from the hip.” The IPCC’s 2007 report, which won it the Nobel Peace Prize, said that the probability of Himalayan glaciers “disappearing by the year 2035 and perhaps sooner is very high”. But it emerged last week that the forecast was based not on a consensus among climate change experts, but on a media interview with a single Indian glaciologist in 1999. The IPCC admitted on Thursday that the prediction was “poorly substantiated” in the latest of a series of blows to the panel’s credibility. ... [mostly blame game ]

I think this is my last post on this subject - A stacked deck on temp information. (Some climate scientists are hoping for grant (tax) projects based on this phony information. I am sure.) This is , in my opinion, a con game where the earth is plundered via legislation and guilt. These men of science are criminals. Bernie Madoof looks like a saint compared to these "scientists". Well, California voted down a suspension of carbon contol expansion. That will be the final card for some Ca companies. Voters chose Jerry Brown for governor again. Oh, and the Golden State continues to watch it's population drop as businesses and tax payers leave the bankrupt state. Update: I got a check from the state of CA. $38 for not serving on a jury last month. I sat in a gallery of about 50 some folks and i am one of maybe 10 that were not called down or spoken to at all. Must cash this check ( could have been an IOU in this state) poste haste. Here is a piece on the Green Scheme. (my own new term-watch it grow.) Washington Exam editorial 12-4-10. by Wesley Pruden Turn out the lights, the party's over Scams die hard, but eventually they die, and when they do, nobody wants to get close to the corpse. You can get all the hotel rooms you want this week in Cancun. The global-warming caravan has moved on, bound for a destination in oblivion. The United Nations is hanging the usual lamb chop in the window this week in Mexico for the U.N.'s Framework Convention on Climate Change, but the Washington guests are staying home. Nobody wants to get the smell of the corpse on their clothes. Everybody who imagined himself anybody raced to Copenhagen last year for the global-warming summit, renamed "climate change" when the globe began to cool, as it does from time to time. Some 45,000 delegates, "activists," business representatives and the usual retinue of journalists registered for the party in Copenhagen. This year, only 1,234 journalists registered for the Cancun beach party. The only story there is that there's no story there. The U.N. organizers glumly concede that Cancun won't amount to anything, even by U.N. standards Con't'd http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2010/dec/2/pruden-turn-out-the-lights-the-party-s-over/

This sort of reminds me of the "Israel Test." Have you heard of it? Much can be drawn from this generalization and extrapolated to envy vs admiration of the "ultra rich" whether they be Donald Trumps or Bill Gateses or Warren Buffets. Or the many many ultra-rich Republicans on the Twin Peaks Gazette board.
The Israel Test can be summarized by a few questions: What is your attitude toward people who excel you in the creation of wealth or in other accomplishment? Do you aspire to their excellence, or do you seethe at it? Do you admire and celebrate exceptional achievement, or do you impugn it and seek to tear it down? Caroline Glick ... sums it up: "Some people admire success; some people envy it. The enviers hate Israel."

Al Gore stands to make loadsa money off pushing the man made causes of Global Warming, but Gore and Maurice Strong will be very rich men off the cap and trade. Gore totally has tunnel vision on this issue. I'll be called a conspiracy kook, but Jesse Ventura's "Conspiracy Theory" show on TruTv was very interesting on the so called Global Warming Scam I personally feel that any global warming is to do with the sun itself, not carbon emissions et al
