Question, was the scene at the begining with Nic Cage and Laura Dern a cut scene from Wild at Heart or something specifically shot for this concert?

I read that this was shot during the filming of Wild At Heart, and since Lynch had them right there, he decided to put them in this project. They are based on the Sailor and Lula characters.

That god damn trailer's more popular than Uncle's Day in a whorehouse!

Yup! They've been rerunning the series on The N, so I TiVoed them in highest quality and burned them to DVD in highest quality. They look fantastic, and I even was nice enough to print labels onto the discs instead of just writing with a marker. Hyde should love me forevah! That is...if I get his package in the mail finally! :P

Unfortunately I've never seen it - and the reason why I really regret it is that it was made in the time I consider Lynch's artistic peak.
I call it middle-Lynch (as opposed to early Lynch and latest Lynch): Blue Velvet, Twin Peaks, Wild at Heart and - yes, Industrial Symphony should be there... Lynch's films from that time have a very special feeling to them which I find most "Lynchian"... more than the non-linear experiments from later films. Even though I like some other films more than Wild at Heart, it still has that same feeling.. somehow I've always sensed that Industrial Symphony has the same... don't know if that's even right?
