Has anyone listened to tracks like 'High Night Walk' and 'Victrola Manifestation' on the site?

You can get to them in the 'David Lynch' section under Artists. I'd previously missed them as I was sorting everything by album and I don't think they come up. I thought the only knew stuff was in the Twin Peaks Archive but there's loads of DL tracks I'd never heard before too.

Wait what...! Deer Meadow Shuffle was released and no-one bothered to tell me.

EDIT: I'm also enjoying this Mysterioso stuff. Very Bohren & Der Club of Gore...

I downloaded the album a while back but I haven't had a chance to listen to it very thoroughly. I was surprised by the addition of vocals, however. I'm not sure I like it but it's good to see them experimenting with their sound a little.

i gotta disagree with you on that, sourdust. sure, i love them for their sparseness, but i think the vocals were well used. the rest of the album is the good old bohren we know already. im hoping to hear more of it on their next record proper.

Downloaded the Americana pack, and the RR Bundle!  Firstly, obviously most of the RR songs are modelled after 'country ballads', but what real songs do they sound like??? Preparing for MT Wentz sounds to me like Charles Aznavours 'She'

P.s the James Hurley outtake sounds like the opening titles to the TP Spin-off that never was: 'James Hurley's Wacky Black Lodge Road Trip'

No I like the album but I have mixed feelings about the particular type of vocals they employed on the second song. I always imagined Bohren would sound good with a smoky, female jazz singer. This is different...

Anyway, with all the super rare stuff being released on the archive right now, I'm really hoping to see Teresa's Autopsy and/or the instrumental version of Sycamore Trees.

Is it good? It's the only track that won't play for me (on any browser!)

No I can't listen to it either. At first I thought it was just my slow connection but apparently there's something wrong on the website.

I just had to buy RR Swing with my credit card instead of Paypal because

The billing address's country is ineligible for purchase of the offer you have selected

apparently

I ran from the noise and the silence, from the traffic on the streets

This isn't really the right place for this but I was just listening to the Heat soundtrack and this track is really reminiscent of Twin Peaks: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-EILNvJ2y2I&feature=related

It's by Norwegian guitarist Terje Rypdal. The instrumentation, slow tempo and general feel would make it fit in on any of the TP soundtracks I think. Well, the first half of the song anyway. It changes a bit in the second half.

The instrumental version of Sycamore Trees has been put up, excellent! You still hear Jimmy Scott faintly in the background though.

That bleed-through is so haunting. I'm definitely going to get the Archive as a collection if it ever finishes!
