Sticking strictly to good listening songs that were around back in 1990 and that follow the series pattern of sung lyrics that are misunderstood when heard as in Mairze Dotes, I must offer up that most Mondegreen'ed of pop songs, "In a godda da vida", which was "In the Garden of Eden" when it was written back in 1968. Heavy Metal chaos theory clearly states that the flapping of the wings of an Iron Butterfly can influence even the world of Twin Peaks!
Sadly, we might have to insert it as a Leland Palmer vocal with the Great Northern house band rocking the inn, and with an interpretive dance performance by an off-duty Lucy Moran.
