Play Ball!!! Well, baseball season has started! I know i may be one of the few on here, who love baseball. I've been playing and following baseball since I was a little kid. Anybody else like baseball? Who's your team? Mine is the Milwaukee Brewers. Enquiring minds want to know......

Gonna be a loooong summer, if my boys don't pick-up some more pitching. There gonna have to make a serious trade or somethings gonna give. There hitting will be good as ususal, but their pitching is gonna lose them a few more games. I miss you Sabathia, come back - stay away from them Yanks!!!

World Champion Philadelphia Phillies in the National League, and the never-win-anything Texas Rangers in the American League.

I grew up going to Brewers games. We lived in northern Illinois but the old man liked driving to Milwaukee better than going into Chicago. I was, however, an Illinois boy so I've been a White Sox fan since way back. My affection for them has been tempered by dislike for Jerry Reinsdorf in recent years. So, mainly, the Cubs. I have many friends who are die hard fans and I have a weak spot for underdogs. Like so many things sports related my enjoyment of the game is offset by my dislike for the business. The much lauded Mariners stadium, Safeco Field, I don't like very much. When I go to a baseball game I like to watch the game and that is pretty hard for me to do what with Hydro Races, Hat Tricks, Blooper reels and all the rest of the crap they feel the need to fill every second the ball isn't in play with.

Brew-Crew gotta face Randy Johnson tonight. 5 wins shy of 300 for his career. I like the guy a lot, but not against my boys!!!

So yesterday -did I hear right that the Giant's pitcher had thrown 50 some pitches in the first 2 innings? wtf? Enjoy your Brewers man ! Shit you scored 6 runs last nite-- I guess you are on point with your pitching staff's possible vulnerability. EDIT Ah, Randy Johnson isn't 6 foot 7 is he? 20 years !! I remember him from the old days.

I have faith that they'll pick up pitching as-needed this season. we finally got an owner with deep pockets.

I thought when it was the 4th inning, now is the hard work Randy. i was afraid of something like that. A starter should have 6 innings in controll. 6 innings...How long is that in dog years ? I left tonite's game in the 7th at 7 to one --it looked over--no disrespect to the Brewers' bats.

Yeah, the Brewer's bats stunk it up !! I hated to see them lose 2 of 3, especialy with the Cubbies coming up. Their bats will be back on track - hopefully no long slumps. Well, thank God it's a long season.

Home Opener Today !!! I sure wish I was going, but it's been sold out for a long time now. Whenever the Cubs come to town, it's always a wild time! Plenty of fights, arrests, and insane drunk people. Brewers fans and Cub fans really hate each other. Hopefully, getting out of the Bay-area will do them some good.

Yeah, their rivalry is pretty intense. Even when the Brewers were in the American League, they used to get into it with the White Sox. For some reason the rivalry is even worse with the Cubs. Thanks, I suppose I'm looking forward to go back to work. It'll be nice to get back into a "normal" routine again.

Those comments were from 2 years ago. Did you notice the (my) Giants last year-say around October? Winning. Oh wait , that word is copyrighted by baseball fan Charles Sheen.
