I'm no psychiatrist but it appears to me that Casey, the Mom, is a narcisistic pathological liar at the least and may very well be responsible for harm to her cute innocent daughter. Little Caylee did impede Mom Casey's social life. Either an accident followed with a coverup or even a murder seems likely.

I am wondering what the labs have found regarding cadaver dog hits and witness suggestions that the abandoned car smelled like human death. I guess the grandma and a car impounding person have smelled the signature scent in the past.

Where are the lab reports on the abandoned car trunk? What is the holdup? Do the cops know the results and are stringing along the Mom for more evidence?

Well, they released the Body Farm results on air from the trunk. i heard that today the FBI lab report on the stain/hair are due and cops and prosecutors are meeting re those findings.

The bounty hunter has asked his nephew the bailbondsman to revoke the bond. that would return the Mom Casey to jail. And that poor little angel is gone. I wouldn't be surprised if Casey admits to an accident and a coverup. Geez, her parents would have taken her I'm sure. Proving murder will be a challenge without a body.

Call me desensitized. I decided long ago that I couldn't get wrapped up in every single little case that popped up in the news, otherwise I'd end up hating humanity more than I already do. It's a tragedy that things like this happens, but unfortunately it's just news. Same shit, different day.

Sometimes these cases offer an escape (not a happy one ), if you will, from other serious macro news. Hollywood sites offer an escape also. It is perhaps perversely interesting to see the humanness of stars dealing with problems of divorce, drugs etc. Crime and the travails of stars are interesting subjects even though negative and sometimes horrific.

I have to say that this Nancy Grace show apparently works and rehashes a case and really grinds it fine. I have checked in on this Caylee case over a couple months now and very little news is found from the last time viewed. I mean 5 days a week times 10 weeks sure seems like wallowing in place indefinetly. One sees the same footage and commentary ad infinitum. As Amanda says ' same shit different day' ; And yet I check in once a week or so. This tot mom Casey is a cold and yet interesting study.

I happened to see the Dateline on this at the gym. Yes, stories about attractive middle class white women doing messed up things get lots of coverage because middle class white people eat it up. Whenever there's been a highly publicized search for a missing kid for as long as I can remember, they always end up dead. So there's remains near the family's house. After the shovel and the chloroform being linked to mom, that's a BIG surprise.

I was shocked as hell when the Ramseys were exonerated, though. But this girl isn't even trying to look innocent.

Of all children under age 5 murdered from 1976-2005 --

• 31% were killed by fathers
• 29% were killed by mothers
• 23% were killed by male acquaintances
• 7% were killed by other relatives
• 3% were killed by strangers

Of those children killed by someone other than their parent, 81% were killed by males.

They have found the remains that appear to be Caylee Anthony.

" Although the medical examiner has not determined the identity of the remains, NeJame thinks they belong to the missing toddler.

"It's more than a hunch," he said. "I have had an opinion for a long time. I absolutely believe that it is [Caylee]."

Other updates:

* KidFinders -- the group helping the Anthonys look for Caylee -- announced that it's suspending its search for Caylee due to the recent developments. The organization says it has not given up on Caylee and will continue to update its Web site (www.helpfindcaylee.com and www.kidfindersnetwork.com).

* A source told the Orlando Sentinel this morning that the skull found in the bag of remains was wrapped in duct tape. Investigators also found other items inside the bag. But specifics were not available.

* Investigators obtained a search warrant overnight -- the third since the start of the case -- to remove evidence from George and Cindy Anthony's home. Investigators walked out of the house with several large brown evidence paper bags and boxes. Detectives also seized several vacuum cleaners and tanks.

* Orange County Sheriff Kevin Beary, who appeared on ABC's Good Morning America this morning, did not offer many details about the remains, but said there was reason to return to the Anthonys' house and collect evidence.

* Orange County deputies this afternoon released audio from a call to the sheriff's 911 call center made immediately after the discovery of a child's remains Thursday.

During the call, which lasted less than two minutes, a male utilities company representative and a female dispatcher discuss the location of the find.

"Yes, miss, this is Orange County Utilities dispatch. We found a human skull," the man said.

"Oh my gosh," she replied.

"KioMarie Cruz, Casey Anthony's childhood friend, also told police to investigate the same wooded area near Hidden Oaks Elementary School a month before the meter reader, according to CNN affiliate WFTV.

In an interview with detectives, according to WFTV, Cruz said that she and Anthony "pretty much used to hang out there most of our time," would "snack on food for hours" and went there to "get away from our parents."  -CNN.com

What bugs me is the mother Casey shows no emotion whatsoever concerning Caylee.  She was out partying while she was "missing".  Another thing I don't get is the media has mentioned a possible accidental death by chloroform.  WTF?  Who in their right mind would chloroform their daughter so she could pass out in the car so you could go party?!?!?  What!  I don't get it at all.

Also, what's up with these reports there were already tips about these same remains being found months ago and the police not investigating? Weird.

Well, this Nancy Grace show has been at this case most times I surf by her show. The mileage and the grinding of things exceedingly fine for over six months is interesting. I see some of the same jail interviews run today that were run 6 months ago. Like you can go away for the autumn and pretty much continue where you left off. Of course some hyped "breaking News" is displayed every night. Alot of the Breaking news is just a different approach to the same threadbare coverage.

But the case is interesting with the likes of the grandparents' unorthodox behavior. not to mention this nutbird ' tot mom'.  Tot Mom. I guess that phrase can be added to Baby Daddy.
