If you really want to know Judy was placed by Lynch as a thing for fans to discuss. "w'ere not gonna talk about Judy in fact we're not gonna talk about her at all we'll keep her out of it" That's all good nothing to discuss. Then comes the monkey.

What is the meaning of this parsley?

I was watching an episode from S2 the other day, and found that if you take the first letter from the names of Bob, Eveleyn Marsh, Norma Jennings, Dale Cooper, Eileen Hayward, and Ronette Pulaski, it spells out BENDER. Which is pretty gay. But more gay is this.... If you do the same thing with the names of Pete Martell, Elizabeth Briggs, Nadine Hurley, Irene, Sylvia Horne, Hank Jennings, Annie Blackburn, Nicky, Denise Bryson, Laura Palmer, Ed Hurley, and Richard "Dick" Tremayne, you get PENIS HANDLER. Which is just plain rude. This is clearly intentional, and it's only a matter of time before the casual viewer figures those out. I'm finding out gayer things about Twin Peaks by the day, and i'm not liking it. Come to think of it "Twin Peaks" shares initials with "Touching Penises". Where will he sneakily slide in his sly nods to homosexuality next? If you'll pardon the expression.

Leland was violated by Bob at Pearl Lakes.
Pearl Lakes = Pearl-colored bodily fluid Pearl Lakes = Chain of lakes = Chain of pearls = Pearl necklace!

So, nobody saw the whole "Cooper-in-a-tux looking to Audry Horne like Archie Leach" tie-in and thus Cary Grant and "Judy, Judy, Judy" the line he never uttered. Can't link it to gay rough trade though. Penetrating analysis though! Freud would be proud. Hm'mm, Freud backwards would be pronounced "DWARF" So the LMFAP becomes the armchair psychologist and outs us all in our dreams! So Goodnight Irene

Can't recall where or by whom, but a TP fan connected Glastonbury Grove with Bohemian Grove, the meeting place of the Bohemian club, an elitist fraternity that performs secret rituals and activities in the woods.
In light of this thread, let me POINT OUT that in the last episode of TP, Harry is examining the owl cave glyph on the chalkboard when Pete comments about "12 rainbow trouts in the bed" [of his truck]. This mention of 12 rainbows in a bed sparks a revelation for Harry, who then suggests Glastonbury Grove. So are we to tie in rainbows with the Bohemian Club? Were the TP creators making jest of this all male cavorting? Kubrick would be proud of such jest about a secret society.
The flamboyant Philip Jeffries claimed that he had been to one of their meetings. Whose meeting?
From the very credible Wikipedia, here's a quote from President Richard Nixon about the Bohemian Club (Pardon me for the offensive language that follows, but you don't have to pardon Tricky Dick):
"The Bohemian Grove, that I attend from time to time—the Easterners and the others come there—but it is the most faggy goddamn thing you could ever imagine, that San Francisco crowd that goes in there; it's just terrible! I mean I won't shake hands with anybody from San Francisco."
And from President Bill Clinton: "The Bohemian club! Did you say Bohemian club? That's where all those rich Republicans go up and stand naked against redwood trees right"

Ah Yes...thank you JFK. I cant believe I forgot to mention the Bohemian Club's use of owl symbolism. JFK, your avatar captures a scene of Major Briggs givin' the ol' thumb up, his faced stuffed with a white gooey malllow, and a rainbow affixed to the tent in the backdrop.

QUOTE:When Eraserhead begins Henry's mouth is filled with semen to the point where he can't keep it in. This echoes in The Straight Story when we find out that the neighbor lady has a taste for "snowballs".

Major Briggs states: "There is a time, when Jupiter and Saturn meet, they will receive you."
In medical astrology, Saturn commonly represents teeth, and Jupiter represents semen.
Hence the importance of brushing teeth.

I'm sorry to quote my own posting, but the above also makes me question the meaning of Drops of Jupiter, from Train's Grammy Award-winning song of that title. "...drops of Jupiter in her hair..."

The song Drops of Jupiter describes one's finding spiritual enlightenment through a celestial journey of higher consciousness - a journey to the White Lodge.
