No wonder I didn't know what the 6 was. I'm not a fan of the movie so I haven't seen it much.

Anyway, yeah I can understand that people are angry. Stealing is always wrong.

Did James Marshall come to the Fest this year?

Yeah, we actually know who took it. Which makes it even worse because we know the person took it to be a jerk to all the other TP fans out there and will never return it. Oh well.

James Marshall ended up canceling at the last minute due to illness. Apparently he's been very ill and wasn't fessing up to it until finally someone forced him to stay home and take care of himself. So we were very supportive of his decision to cancel, as we would rather have a healthy, happy James than no James at all. We had fest attendees sign a large get-well card for him that I mailed on Wednesday and he should receive sometime early next week. Hopefully it cheers him up! He felt really bad about canceling. Profuse apologies and everything, which I thought was both adorable and very lovely of him. He just didn't want to let anyone down. Makes me feel fortunate that we have such fantastic people like James and the other celebs to work with for the festival. A lot of class. Very refreshing.

No, It wasn't Andy it was Ms. Fenn.  Harry Goaz (Andy) has never attended the Fest. We're hoping Kimmy can persuade him to attend in the future. 

James attended the 05 or 06 Fest? and had a great time. He was really nervous at first but once he got comfortable (Thank you Jennifer Lynch) he was a great person to meet.

Jamed attended the 2004 festival. He had a great time, too. We've been trying to get him back ever since, but it's like someone hates us. :P

Sherilyn Fenn will be lucky if she even crosses mine and Jared's thoughts when planning the festival. She wasted both the time and the money of the festival two years in a row with her antics and I wouldn't trust her to not pull the same crap again were she asked to join us in the future.

I didn't think she was a diva either but Ms. Fenn was suppose to come to the 03 and 04 Fest? Folks came to the Fest ready to meet her but then she folded like a cheap lawn chair at the last minute. The first time was the old "I'm stuck in shooting and I can't get away" excuse. I never heard an excuse the second time. The bottom line was she screwed everyone over two years in a row and waited until the absolute last minute to do it. So I dont see her ever getting another invite. Yes, I was extremely disappointed in her behavior.

Victoria Caitlin (Blackie) pulled the same stunt in 01. The Barn was set up like a casino and everything, just for her. I heard she bailed on the Fest at the absolute last minute as well. But these two are the exception, Every celebrity I've met at the Fest has been an incredible and positive experience.

She was booked to attend in 2004 and again in 2005. Both times it was a cancellation at the very last minute. In 2004 she suddenly had a change in the schedule of some production she was working on, and canceled two days before the festival. Which we were fine with though later on her story lost a bit of credibility. The next year she just didn't even get on the damn plane. Turned out she wasn't even in Los Angeles...she had gone up to Toronto and spent the week there! We never got a single explanation from her that time. Just a complete flake-out no-show, leaving a lot of disappointed and angry fans. At that point we decided that until she learned to be respectful of the fans and the festival, she would not be invited back. She cost the festival a lot of time and money with her antics.

Kyle was invited and politely declined. We'll try again one day, but I'm not so sure the festival can afford what he requires.

Michael Ontkean on the other hand...he just completely ignored us.

Yeah, I've gotten the impression that Michael has distanced himself from anything that has to do with Twin Peaks. I don't know why that is though. Maybe he's just tired of it...?

What about David Lynch? Maybe he's too busy.

David has stated on numerous occasions that he is not interested in attending the festival (he appreciates the festival very much...he just does not desire to attend) but we still hold a little hope that one day that will change.

Oh I don't think Kyle has let anything go to his head really. It's just the general level of expectation he's come to set for himself...makes sense in a way. We were advised that if Kyle were to attend, we should expect to provide things like first class airfare and limousine transportation to all events. We just cannot afford such a thing, nor would we elevate one festival celebrity above the rest in such a way. I know, as fans wanting to meet these celebrities very badly, it's easy to say "I would be happy to chip in extra to appease such-and-such a celeb..." but it's a slap in the face to the other celebrities who generously give their time and rarely ask for any special treatment in addition to what we provide (if they do make special requests, usually it's due to an immediate health situation or traveling at certain times to fit their schedules). I couldn't do that to people like Charlotte Stewart, Catherine Coulson, Phoebe Augustine, Kimmy Robertson, etc. All amazing people who expect nothing more than a meal and a warm bed, yet deserve so much more.

Again, the celebrities who have attended have been so gracious and fantastic to everyone. Charlotte Stewart always makes sure she finds me and gives me a huge and genuine hug. She is simply awesome.

 Oh, sorry to get all mixed up. It was a joke, albeit a crap one. Hence the bold font.

To be fair though, if there was gonna be someone attending that would make me get up off my arse and book a ticket, it would be Harry Goaz. I'd ask him so many questions that he'd probably spark me out within five minutes.

Victoria "Blackie" Catlin needs a word of defense here.  When the casino set-up at the barn was prepared on her behalf and when we had expected her arrival, it was only at the very moment that a limo pulled up to the hotel where Eric Thomas had booked the celebs, that I learned there was  no Victoria Catlin.  I believe to this day that it was Eric who knew all along she was not coming but never told us, his co-planners.  Why do I believe this?  Because we were all frantic with concern.  What happened?  Where's Victoria?  Eric was calm.  Finally David said to Eric, "Call her."  Eric took out his cellphone and did.  David took the phone from Eric.  She was very upset that Eric would have said she was coming.  She  insisted she told him she was not available.  She was involved in some sort of legal issue.  She said over and over, "I told Eric I couldn't come but if there was any change, I'd let him know." 

 Later we made some overtures toward Victoria but heard that she was not in the best of health.  Something to do with a bad car/truck accident as I recall.  I think that was the reason for the lawsuit even back then.
