My disc 4 does this...thought it was just me. lol Haven't gotten to disc 6 yet. As long as there are no scratches and they play, I guess that will have to do, as it was a Christmas gift, and the receipt was lost.

Oh, and I believe my came from Best Buy...if that helps narrow anything down. Or Costco. Was a gift from my dad, and those are the 2 main places he purchases dvds.

I didn't notice any of the problems mentioned in the original thread, but one thing I want to mention is that my box set did not have any postcards in it!!!! Did this happen with anyone else? I am very disappointed!

Chiming in again on my set. Disc 4, no way to select, as others stated. Just started watching disc 9. First episode played perfectly, second episode freezes and skips, once every 7 minutes or so at first, then about every minute. Finally had to stop watching, as it's down to the crucial episodes now. I am not a happy bunny, Best Buy needs to be honorable and let me swap this out. Just figured I'd add that, see if anyone else had this problem as well.

My discs also have a problem on disc 4 and 6 with the individual episode selection in both my DVD player and my computers DVD player. Not really a big issue though since it takes all of 3 minutes to scan the entire DVD using scene selections.

I'm having the same problem with Disc # 4 ...so far ! Damn it !!
I would rather stand and die than have to live and kneel.

Mine didn't have any either. I just figured it was because it came out in October, and I hoped I would get it for Christmas. When that didn't happen, I ordered it myself in February, or so. Just figured that was something that came with the first pressing, or something.
When the Tacoma Sperm Bank was looking for donors, naturally I applied. It's my civic duty and I like whales. A routine physical examination revealed that I'm sterile. Sure I thought it meant that I didn't have to take a bath, but the doctors told me the truth. They told me I can't have babies. So what I wanna know now is why are you having one and how?

I searched for a thread like this before posting my other thread, but I too have scratched discs and skipping problems. Discs 1 (pilot disc) and discs 4, 7 and 8 all are scratched and skip in my set.

The scratches come from the packaging itself. Each disc tray has this little sharp raised nub that easily scratches the discs. Some got scratched before owners received their sets, others got scratched after people removed and reseated the discs. As soon as I heard this was an issue, i carefully removed all my discs and sanded down the raised nubs. Haven't had a scratched disc yet. No issues with discs not working though. Bummer for those who do. :(
