Summer babe. Sob! It doesn't matter what disease or ailment finally killed Silva. It does matter that he died of AIDS. I don't think I've veered from that point at all in this thread. I don't think I'm at all contradictory. I hate Pavement.

Sorry,albie but I don't understand you.. And it seems like nobody here does. And why does it matter (for you) that Frank died of AIDS????? He was a great man,and a great actor without even being an actor at all! He's the immortal BOB ;)

You don't understand that it's an insult to presume someone doesn't know how AIDS works? It's a modern day faux pas. It's important to point out that Frank died of AIDS, as I already said, to bring it home to us that AIDS isn't gone. When someone we know dies of it, we realise this. Wear your rubbers. Well, I don't actually care if you wear your rubbers. The day I found out about AIDS I hoped it would kill off humanity. I hate humanity, generally. 9/11 got me watching TV again. A right hoot. I can't wait for the next one. Please tell me there will be a next one. But yeah, don't presume someone is ignorant of how AIDS works just because they use the shorthand 'Frank died of AIDS.' I realise that you know full well what I'm saying and are just protecting your friend from the weird newbie btw.

I can't believe we've dragged a thread on to three pages arguing over the semantics of Silva's cause of death. Folks, it doesn't matter how he died. He's dead and instead of focusing on his life and legacy he left for us, we're focusing on his death and fighting about it. Give me a f*cking break.
