2 1/2 hours for me....which Ill be leaving for in about 10 minutes.

Well I'll be travelling to NYC from Finland 26th March so that beats all those distances at least. :) Should the film still be playing there. Hope so!

There's just one thing that makes me wonder. Mulholland Drive made me unable to think about anything else for the few following days. Should probably go and see the film at the end of my vacation so that I'll be able to enjoy them both. ;)

Yes...that will be the case.

Right when the movie ended I thought..."Crap, Im gonna have to drive 2 1/2 hours again"

I could have stayed for a showing that was 3 hours later but the weather was horrible and I had to make a break for it.

1) Walked down Archer Avenue to the Orange Line station at Halstead

2) Transferred to the Red Line at Roosevelt, took Red Line to Addison station.

3) Go down Addison 6 blocks, turn right on Southport, two blocks to the Music Box theater...all in all not far at all.

Less than an hour from the western suburbs to the Music Box (we spent more time standing in line outside waiting to get in than the drive time).

It actually just came to Kansas City, where I'm unfortunate enough to live.  I drove 10 minutes.

Fortunately it was 30 min only to drive to the city. But I wouldnt mind to drive more.First,I was worried that it would be only in Barcelona which would mean 1 hour and half for me but surprisingly  the film was  at some local cinemas too(a very little hall though).Anyway this film worth driving...

Well...the last day that IE is being screened in Cleveland is Thursday, so itll be my last chance to see it before the DVD.

I already drove 2 and a half hours there and the same back to see it once, and now I might have to do it again.

I really dont want to make the drive but Ill be kicking myself if I dont.

Oh, just go! And maybe while you're away, the police will thwart that fiend who pilfered your apostrophe key!!  Oh, & don't forget to go outside for a smoke during the Black Tambourine scene (Curse you, Beck Hansen & your music making!!!)...  (This post was made possible by a generous grant from the Sarcasm Squad)

Did anybody here go to the Austin event? A 3-hour drive was a little beyond my level of devotion to D-to-tha-L.

Yeah, I went again last night....and unfortunately the Beck song was still in it.

I was hoping that when I heard that song in there the first time that it was just a Polish nightmare and I just imagined it.

Tomorrow I will drive almost 5 hours to Paris, to visit the Art Exhibition of Lynch and hopefully to watch Inland Empire. The next day we'll go back, perhaps have a quick look around Paris before leaving.

I've had to wait a while but tonight I will drive 5-7 minutes to see IE. Was pleasantly surprised this morning to find that it has arrived in my town a week ahead of schedule (as listed at inlandempirecinema.com).

It's hard to say for me.  I went to visit a few friends in Seattle, and went to see the movie while there, at the Neptune.  So, I did travel about 90 miles from home, but I didn't go to the movie theater from my house.

INLAND EMPIRE was supposed to have its premiere in Finland in August but that has all changed now, we'll be having it on 13th April and that's just great! So I don't have to worry about seeing it on my trip to New York next week (it seems to have stopped showing in the IFC Center so I guess it wouldn't have been possible anyway).
