David's hair is the sh*t! I haven't gotten around to seeing IE yet, but when I do I have to travel all the way to The Cornerhouse, which is 3 miles away from my apartment. *sigh* The things I do to see a Lynch movie! ;p
On the second day he came With a single red rose Said "Will you give me your loss and your sorrow?" I nodded my head as I lay on the bed He said, "If I show you the roses will you follow?" On the third day he took me to the river He showed me the roses and we kissed And the last thing I heard was a muttered word As he stood smiling above me With a rock in his fist They call me the wild rose But my name was Eliza Day Why they call me it I do not know For my name was Eliza Day

Glad to see you too, Rebel.
Where have I been? Well, obviously, I've been in trouble!

I was there at least 10 - 15 minutes early, but he took out the back door. at least I seen him for about 2 minutes saturday night. it was a surprise to me at the Dallas theatre:)

Finally! IE just opened at a theater in Houston, less than 20 min. from my house, I saw the first matinee. I think about 15 attended. Totally worth the wait, I'll need to see it again before it leaves town.

Is it still playing anywhere because I've been going crazy because I missed it this week and it was about half an hour away. I really don't want to wait another 5 years to see a lynch film in theaters.

Ha! That's where I saw Eraserhead in 1979!

I'm going to travel about fifteen minutes by bus, and walk another ten. If anyone wants to be jealous, scroll down a bit and witness a schedule which includes every Lynch film except Dune. Shame about all the subtitles, but I'll live.

OMG!!! I was driving down the main street in Omaha today and lo and behold, on our only artsy theater, staring out at me in big black letters were those words--INLAND EMPIRE--I swear I almost had an accident. I immediately called the theater, and it just started today and will be in town for one week! So I get to go!!! And now the theater tells me they have a newsletter by email. I called there months ago and asked, because I saw "Wild at Heart" there, but nobody knew. I can't believe I get to see it on the big screen!
