I have a question about those mysterious and confusing scenes with the electrical wires above the streets. Why are they seen so often(especially in FWWM)?What does the electricity have to do with the murders(if it is so)?

And also the strange scenes with Leland and the fan...What is the fan connected with?Your opinion?

Beware of BOB

BOBBOB

When I call out no one can hear me,when I whisper he thinks the message is for him only..my little voice inside my throat,I always think there must be something that I've done or something I can do...But no one no one comes to help,he says,a little girl like you...

The electricity has been talked about a lot. I (and some others) think it is a sign that soemthing bad is going to happen.

The more I pay attention to when it appears, the more it seems to happen.

For example, notice how, there is lightning/electricty in Twin Peaks just before Leland arrives in the Sherriff's station. This is indicating the presence of BOB, and that soemthing bad is about to happen. The same thing happens when he dances with Donna, in Cooper's dream, in ep. 29 when Coop is in the black lodge with the doppelgangers and many, many others. It also happens in the pilot when Coop and Harry are there visiting Laura's body - is this because Leland/BOB is about to appear? (As he does.) It would seem so. It also happens with Windom Earle's arrival. There is lightning just before Leo sees him. The lightning and electricity to me definetly forewarn of danger or soemthing bad about to happen. Mainly BOB but possibly others too.. (like Earle.)

It also happens in FWWM when Chet and Sam come into Hap's. I've always wondered what this meant? I think it could have associations with Irene and that maybe she knows more than she's letting on, or that BOB/Leland are on their way to Hap's. Why Leland would be there I've no idea, but it is possible because it's not too long after he killed Teresa..

Thank you very much ,Maddy:) I really wanted to know that.Well...I didn't pay attention to the scenes you mentioned.I agree with you. These scenes really forewarn of something bad which is going to happen, and mainly the presence of BOB,the presence of the evil. The appearance and the power of BOB maybe cause all these problems with the electricity...

i think the electricity is the medium the spirits use to travel between the two worlds. it's not necessarily something bad happening.

I thought the same. It could be all about the spirits, were they evil or not.

I recall Mark Frost saying that people in Twin Peaks are what they are because of the power lines or something like that. It could be a statement about people getting electricity for their own use. Before, the electricity was free to move where ever it wanted to and mostly appeared only as lightings. Electricity and the otherworld didn't affect people that much then. But now, as we have "captured" electricity, we depend too much on it. We can't be without it anymore. If the electricity "stops", our lives would be in jeopardy. Electricity controls our lives. The spirits control our lives. Keeps us like puppets on a string. Makes us do things we might not normally do.
