Just a quick one.... Who is supposed to be speaking through Sarah Palmer to Major Briggs in Ep # 28? 29? in the RR the line is,""I'm in the Black Lodge...with Dale Cooper," This is when Jacoby brings her in to see Briggs and her voice gets all shifted down low... anyone.....anyone............buller...............?

Well,I think Sarah is one of the gifted and the damned as well, although she doesn't know anything about the lodges.I suppose this was a messege from Windom Earle who was speaking through her at this moment.
Beware of BOB

When I call out no one can hear me,when I whisper he thinks the message is for him only..my little voice inside my throat,I always think there must be something that I've done or something I can do...But no one no one comes to help,he says,a little girl like you...

Why would Earle speak through her? I always thought she just went there, in one of her vision-thingys.

And why would Sarah be in the lodge with Dale Cooper?I think she can't be there. She doesn't know anything about these lodges,I think at that moment this was not Sarah, but someone else speaking through her.Just a theory ,it's not 100% right, but nothing in TP is wrong or right ;)

And she also says that "I'm waiting for you" so that definitely seems to be someone else's message to Garland. Sarah is a sort of a medium in that scene. Someone has a message for Garland Briggs and she is "gifted" enough to be a medium for the message. Someone is in the Black Lodge with Dale cooper and that someone is waiting for Briggs there. It could be so that when Bob took Windom's soul, Windom was threwn into the Black Lodge. Dale Cooper might be there with him or then Windom is lying to get Garland there much more quickier.

First of all, "I've been waiting for you." (before a cut to commercial as I recall) was spoken by LMFAP and when the show returns from commercial we find Cooper sitting in the waiting room with LMFAP so it is like, yeah, I know you have dreamed about me and seen me in visions and it has all lead up to this moment. Sarah going to Major Briggs in the Double RRt to give him a message. Windom Earle was able to channel some of the Lodge's power for his own purposes and this is an example. Why he decided to tells Briggs is something we can only speculate on; perhaps he wanted to take care of Briggs in the Lodge like he planned to take care of Cooper. However, when it comes to how much Earle was able to utilize the power of the Lodge is also speculative, because one could easily argue that the denizens of the Lodge (who apparently wanted Cooper to be a vessel for BOB) let Earle have his way until Cooper faced his doppleganger and then BOB got rid of Earle since he was of no more use and also he was arrogant enough to think he could harness the power there but he only found the rudest of awakenings. That is all for now.

Well. We´ve talked about this a long time ago. Before that discussion, I´d always thought that Sarah said "Im in the Black Lodge with Windon Earle". The Danish subtitles said WE so I belive that´s why it also sounded like that to me. (you should try and listen carefully and expect him to say WE instead. I had to listen to it with closed eyes several times before I could hear him/her say Dale Cooper) To me, the voice saying "Im waiting for you" sound like Windom Earle to me. So again, back then I thought that this was all WE talking through Sarah, trying to get Briggs into the lodge to kill him, gain more power or whatever. Like a trick or something But. All in all. Im sure this is Earle and Earles voice. Not LMFAP That´s it. Ditte
Yeah but no but yeah but no but....

I recall this being discussed in the late alt.tv.twin-peaks newsgroup. I didn't hear "Windom Earle" then and I can't hear it now. But yeah, I know how hard it is to hear something else when you've heard it in your way so many times. It's just like that I still hear Dave Mustaine shouting "cowards" instead of "killings" at the end of Megadeth's Holy Wars. I know it isn't so but I can't hear it right at all.

Since I've only seen Pilot-15, I don't know what I'm getting into, but I have to know; Is my role-model gifted and damned?
I have many different tasks, but the one that most interests me is the study of UFO's.

When I heard Sarah's phrase in the RR for first time I also heard"I am in the black lodge with Windom Earle"hmm..very strange, but our subtitles said "...with Dale Cooper,so I listened to this part over and over again, and I found out it was really..Dale Cooper, not Windom Earle. Major Briggs is gifted and damned. He is very important in the movie,he helped Cooper a lot,but I will stop here ;)Let it be a surprise for you.You should watch the rest episodes, you'll see ;-)
