only the 2nd or pos 3rd time I've seen it, as despite its popularity it's prob the Lynch film I like least. It was interesting to watch again, some scenes are really good but it still just doesnt do it for me. Sure, Hopper is great as Frank and Kyle is so great too....but it sorta drags. Oddly enough this was the 3rd Lynch film I'd seen back in the day and since then I've become a huge fan, and because of that I've noticed alot of similar motiffs popping up, the highway lines going by that ended up in Lost Highway, alot of the corridors and sounds when Kyle is going to see the girl are very Eraserhead, and of course the close-up shots of fire....there's also the curtains which is obviously very TP.....many elements remind me of Mulholland Drive too, like the cops(similar in Lost Highway) or the theme of a woman in trouble.....

Still not crazy about this film as much as alot of Lynch fans but it was interesting/curious to watch. Great soundtrack though.
