What I mean is, did the film provide enough closure from the world of Twin Peaks for you, that you're not discontent with the fact that it's all over?

For me, it did provide some closure, because I know that Laura is safe now. I still have sooo many questions, though, and not many answers as to what happened to Dale, BOB, Audrey, etc.

Love, Laura

Well, all KINDS of crazy questions, like: are the "Garmonbozians" aliens (as has been posited as the direction Season 3 would take) & are the Lodges some sort of limbo? Will Little Nicky ever get adopted?? And will Norma out her bitch mom as M.T. Wentz??? And what about Pete's 12 rainbow trout?!

For me it just gave some kind of closure regarding Laura. At the end of the TP show it was so much going on that I could never figure out so I can only imagine and analyze how it all ended.

FWWM was just a prequel showing the final fate of Laura Palmer ( taken to the White Lodge because she defeated BOB).

Dale Cooper is trapped in the Black Lodge for 25 years and time's up in 5 years ( The good Dale is in the Lodge and he can't get out - write it in your diary"). Maybe then there will be a 2 hour " Return to Twin Peaks" TV special or better still, a feature film.

I feel the same as you Laura. For me the story of Twin Peaks was really the story of Laura Palmer, a character I came to deeply love. And the final scene of the movie is the most uplifting and heartbreaking 'closure' one could hope for.

Yeah I liked the ending very much. The movie itself also improves the whole experience of Twin Peaks. It makes you forget the weaker sections of the series and the focus shifts back to the heart of the story.

Watching FWWM is always a hard experience for me because usually i tear up at the "Goodnight, princess"-scene and the rest of the movie is just so hard to swallow. It´s like watching someone waiting for execution. And then comes the end scene and it really lifts my spirits to see Laura laughing because she is so happy that all the suffering is over and she finally can go to a better place.

The question of course is, what will happen to Coop? And i think it would be great if they could do another movie to show how he´s doing now. If Lynch and Frost would work together I can´t see that it would fail. The bad thing is that Frank Silva and Don Davis aren´t alive anymore and they would be missed big time.

I couldn't have said it better myself. I totally agree!
