why was there not a josie doppelganger in the black lodge in episode 29??

note that i have seen and own the series and fwwm, and have watched both several times over and over. but josie not having an appearance in the black lodge in episode 29 just bothers the shit out of me.

because it's a television show and contigent on actor's availabilty. Chen was the international star and had conflicts -one of the reasons she comes and goes. There was I believe a stand-in for her though for the last episode where her body in the pajamas is seen with her head obscured by the red drapes. (her head being stuck in the door knob)

A friend of mine told me that he has seen a still from episode 29 that shows a double for Joan Chen (who apparently was unable to film herself) in the same clothes as her last appearance in the show. I would assume that they shot the scene and then Lynch cut it out. So, I guess the idea was to show her back stuck in the curtains (with her face stuck in The Great Northern) Frank Silva even says in a video interview that you can see Josie in the episode. However, I think what he meant was that they filmed the scene. Frank probably just assumed that it was transmitted. Hopefully, I'm remembering everything right. So, the question is, if it was filmed, does it still exist?

In respect to Josie's Chinese heritage, her twin would be doubled to veirganger (or gang of four. Look it up)!!!!

Has the old man answered...,. has the old man answered lovegastrape... my guess is that josie was too dull and uninteresting to have a doppleganger or even worthy of setting foot in the lodge in the first place... that`s just my view on it anyway.....
