Hi, Just started watching Twin Peaks again. In the beginning of episode 3 when Cooper talks about his dream he had the night before, he says that Bob vowed to kill again so Mike shot him. Is this the spirit Mike shooting Bob? Or the real Mike shooting the veterinarian Bob Lydecker? Is that why Mike visits the hospital, to see Bob L.?
In any case, I find it rather confusing. I don't recall hearing about this shooting incident in later episodes. Christian

Might this refer to the bit in the European ending to the Pilot, where Mike does shoot BOB?

I hadn't watched that ending for a long time so I forgot about that. Yes, that's probably the reason. I still don't see how it relates to the show though. Maybe Lynch and Frost hadn't thought about all the lodge stuff that early in the show. Christian

perhaps? yeah, no way the Lodge was a thought then. "Harry, you were there... Lucy, so were you," Cooper tells them. most likely this is all from the ending of European cut which was filmed during the pilot... and then episode three was written with this footage known to the writers and then Lynch cut episode two leaving some of it out.
