In episode 17/18 of the second season when Ms. Jones tries to assassinate Truman. Why does she strip down to her nightgown first and what is it in the bottle she smears on Trumans lips and then her own? Thanks!

some weird kinky sex murder attempt...We can presume that she smears Josie's most used brand of perfume, since Truman in his drunken state believes her to be Josie...Not sure why she needs to strip down, maybe to kill truman at his most vulnerable (ie in sexually compromising position)

It's lame actually. I tend to think that she needs to strip because it is cool when a chick strips in a movie  I do like the Eckhardt plot a lot but its epilogue with that Truman murder attempt is no good to me.
