Does anyone else think the time has come to update the main Twin Peaks Gazette page with something a bit more topical than the announcement that early 2010 will see the release of Northwest passages (lavish, numbered, hardbound, rare etc. etc.)?

I can't look at it without thinking of a corpse hanging in a gibbet, being pecked at by crows on some wild, wind blown heath. Or the underlined copy of Moby Dick from Heathers.

agreed!  The whole things needs an overhaul   No wonder the board is lurching towards death, the whole thing is outdated.

I think that it may help. Then again, whenever I visit here, there is always a load of people viewing the site/forum but who don't seem to register or post themselves. It may be a simple case of the shyness of those who would rather watch discussions than participate.

That sounds like a plan.

Every time i visit the board my mood invariably shifts from warm and sunny with light patches of cloud to "Oh and there's one more thing that never happened! WHY GOD WHY?" The Twin Peaks episode of Psyche, that autograph show thing, the Twin Peaks exhibition (avec participation from the 'Wizard of Logs' himself), even a page about the importance of securing the release of the FWWM deleted scenes are more newsworthy than a book that has effectively been put on hiatus*

* which reminds me, it's always made me laugh when people wonder aloud about further issues of Wrapped in Plastic thus overlooking the significance of their cunning use of the word 'hiatus' (a la ABC - "Oh we're putting it on hiatus never to be seen or heard from again' etc.)

hhmmmm......I have a hard time keeping the site updated at this point. Just too much other things going on now. If I update the website to something, it will be a more general main page and that's it. Years ago, my goal was to have people help maintain the site but that never really panned out.

 It looks splendid!

My bookmark bypasses the main page and goes straight to the forum, so I wasn't sure what everyone was talking about!  Had to google the Gazette and now I see...love the photo of Coop & the llama, Jordan. Well done!

that's a very old ad I made years ago for the Festival. I was surprised I found it.
