Hello. I'm new in here but not new to the Twin Peaks universe. Been a fan for years now and can't stop watching and thinking about the show. Great to have a community in here to share this passion with. I've been thinking about the meaning of "formica table". Maybe it's already been written about in here but let me mention it anyway: formica is similar to "for Mike". In the scene with the table in FWWM, little Mike (as Lynch calls MFAP) gets his garmonbozia. So the table is a place where Mike gets what belongs to him (from BOB). And the fact that the table is green (as MFAP mentions) relates it to his green owl ring, which he also talks about in that scene. As was mentioned in another thread, someone wearing the ring probably belongs to Mike (or at least that person's garmonbozia when killed) or in other words, that person is "for Mike".
I also thought about another scene with Andy in the Double R diner setting up a BOB poster (I forgot which episode but it's one of the earlier ones). He has tape on his hands and standing on his knees, making him small. To me, this is a reference to the very first scene with MFAP standing with his back to Cooper in the red room, making some strange sound with his hands. In the Double R diner, Andy has his back to Garland Briggs and makes a similar (although not quite the same) sound. Garland Briggs looks at him as does Cooper with MFAP in the dream. I don't think it has any relevance to the plot, but it illustrates another of the many dualities in the show, hence the name "Twin Peaks".
