I've just started watching Twin Peaks again for the first time in five years.

This is my favourite scene.

Haha, yes, brilliant scene.

For me, my favourite scene in the series is Cooper's first real venture into the Black Lodge in the final episode, when he's greeted by the little man from another place and Jimmy Scott singing 'Sycamore Trees'.

Yeah, that's a clasic scene.  I love many scenes, don't think I have A favourite scene.  I'm currently watching too, up to episode 16 - definetly one of my favourite episodes from start to finish.

My favourite is Leland's confession and death. Some powerful acting there - kudos to Ray Wise :)

Then "Rest in pain" -fight in the morgue and Laura's funeral.

When Leland died David Lynch lived up to what he promised Ray:

'But don´t worry about it, Ray; you´re going to go out in style. We´re writing you a last great show. It´s going to redeem the character of Leland and it´s going to be a beautiful thing.'"

And it truly did and was. :)

Me too! And my husband, who isn't a big TP fan but watches to appease me - I saw him tear up, too! It is powerful stuff.

Major Brigg's vision of Bobby's future is a sublime scene.  It's certainly one of the key emotionally resonant scenes in the whole series and what makes Briggs such a great character.

All of the scenes mentioned are superb; Briggs' vision scene took a character who was cool in series one, and makes him into an AMAZING!! character hehe

Not my fav scene (which defeats the purpose of the thread, oops), but in the Pilot; as a kind of juxtaposition to the slow, sorrowful, melancholic tone, suddenly, cut to: COOPER! Coopers kinectic (even though he is sitting still in his car) debut wonderfully sets up his character, and to this day I hope Kyle MacLachlan is proud of the character he portrayed; he is still one of my favourite characters on either television or film, ever! 'DAMN good food!'

Yes exactly...people mention Twin Peaks and usually assume anything connected with it is a bit weird and spooky etc...It's this sort of scene that takes it way beyond that realm.

Another moment I love is the end of episode 14, particularly Bobby Briggs. It would seem unlikely that Bobby would be able to share the same perceptions as Margaret and Cooper. Yet here he betrays that he is very sensitive and aware on a deeper level. His obvious distress and feeling make that scene special for me in a way that's hard to explain.

I like all of the scenes mentioned. I don't have a favorite scene, but one that stands out to me is Josie's final scene. When she shoots Thomas and is threatening Harry to not come closer, and Cooper busts in... her strange death, and then LMFAP and BOB showing up.... it's a good one.

My favorite scene by far is where Windham and Leo are trotting along the wooded path in an obvious horse disguise and trank out Major Briggs.

Wow, favourite scene... I couldn't possibly settle for one.

Rewatching the show after 5 years must be quite an experience.

Leland's capture, arrest and death.  Also episodes 14 (Maddy's murder) and 15, both fantastic episodes, as well as eps. Pilot and 1.
