As part of our ongoing series of ridiculously overpriced Twin Peaks memorabilia I offer for your consideration... http://cgi.ebay.com/Twin-Peaks-Laura-and-Waldo-Limited-Print-/250717204036?pt=Art_Photo_Images&hash=item3a5fe8ee44#ht_500wt_1156 I loathe this kind of thing. Last year a run of very beautiful, very desirable and very limited England centenary rugby shirts were snapped up by evil eBay traders who proceeded to hawk £40 shirts for hundreds of pounds. Ditto the Dark Night of the Soul book - the entire run seems to have been snapped up by people hoping to make a quick buck. Is this one of the original 20 prints? Was there a similar print on sale at the Twin Peaks fest? Anyway, pox on this Canadian racketeer...

I don't remember if this was one of the tons of prints available at the festival. To be honest though, I never understood what was so impressive about this print. Yes, it's Peaks, but it's also boring as fuck and would more likely sully my wall rather than enhance it. Surprised me how much people were willing to pay for it. I think there are far more impressive photos in this collection that should have received this treatment. And $750? OH HELL NAW. That dude is a crackpot and he's never going to sell it. Nobody in their right mind would pay that much for it.

I bought a 'Laura and Waldo' print because it features the Very Miss Lee and I couldn't help myself* but I can see why people might find it boring. I'm not mad about any of the other multi-image prints and the 1990-2010 captions remind me of memorial plaques... but that's just me. I like simple, clean, uncluttered images. I ordered a Wild At Heart II print signed by Sheryl Lee, which I was planning to have framed to hang in our study, but it arrived this morning with three bent corners. It wouldn't be a problem if the damage to the bottom right corner wasn't so close to Sheryl's signature. I'm hoping the framer will be able to salvage it with some clever matting. If not I'll have to cover everything except the (rather fabulous) image. I was secretly hoping Sheryl would write on the image itself so I could matt out the captions after Paula said on her site that she'd be too busy in her booth to fulfil specific requests. * after 20 years of 'homecoming queen' and 'wrapped in plastic' I was mad with excitement
