It's something I've been thinking about, if Windom Earle had been able to harness the power of the lodge, and the Black powers had taken over humanity, would milk have become a luxury?

It would if the lodge inhabitants decided to use grazing land for corn production. Unless you mean goat or sheep milk - they can be grazed in areas that are too arid to grow crops.
I ran from the noise and the silence, from the traffic on the streets

I suppose Goat's milk would be highly revered in Black Lodge culture, as the Goat has been seen as a Satanic creature through the ages by many cultures.
