Yeah, I get her point too. She should try a Unity (Universal) Church - probably would fit better there than in Catholicism. Personally, our church pretty much says the same thing - quit being a "Christian" and start being a Christ-follower.

I think she was getting kind of tired of it years ago when I heard her in an interview. People seemed to keep judging her for writing the vampire books. But in Christians defense she did lump everyone together and all chrisitans are not like that, although a lot are. I think some Christians are well meaning they just allow there vision to get in the way of the people they are trying to reach. I have seen this in some of the prolife and antiporn movements. They are so into their vision that they forget that porn stars and pregnant women are people and not obstacles.
