Is the MFAP evil? I would assume so because he was eating the garmonbozia. And the giant seemed to be his "good" doppleganger. But then why did he tip cooper off with the gum comment? To eventually trap him perhaps?

not sure if youre new to the show or you havent lurked the board long enough, but this is an ongoing discussion that pops up now and then. good/evil are highly subjective in TP, not just in us, the audients, but even in the show itself. a better example than MFAP of this is MIKE. in the series he, for all intents and purposes, seems to be good, and helps coop solve the case. but in FWWM, he is much more ambiguous. teresa's garmonbozia(she wore the owl ring) was his(and MFAP) and BOB stole it. to recover it, MIKE gives laura the ring, thus making sure BOB must kill her and not possess her. and by wearing the ring, laura's garmonbozia goes to MIKE and MFAP. i really see no simple way to define whos good and whos evil. which i gather is one of the main themes of TP, namely duality. good and evil(however we define them) need to coexist, symbioticly(even if that means aggression and war), or they dont exist all.

thanks. im happy to share my thoughts, and even happier when they are appreciated. but arent we all.
and yeah, sorry, i dont mean to but i get carried away sometimes. i can be kind of a blowhard when getting worked up in my rambling tangents about the metaphysics and philosophy of TP.
