The last episode of Twin Peaks was definatly something special. It had such an effect on me that i couldnt sleep that night! There are alot of questions about what has happened to Cooper. However i was thinking about the other characters

The Bank Guard= I know he only appears in the last episode but im curious. Ive got a feeling he dedinatly died but Who was he? Why was he in the episode? Who is his wife and new born son? Was he just conjured up to make the explosion even more depressing for us?

Donna= Where has she gone to? Last we saw of her she had a suitcase.

Ben Horne= Im definatly sure Audrey is dead but is her father?

Ed and Nadine= What happens there?

Leo= Sooooo im guessing hes just going to sit there untill he dies or someone finds him??? If he escapes will he go back?

Cooper= You could write a book about different theories surrounding whats happened to cooper! But what do you think? Will Cooper ever go back to normal? Or will he go insane? Or kill people? Or marry whatshername?

Diane= Cooper hadnt recorded much on his tape recorder, shes proberly wondering what the hell has happened?!?!?

I NEED ANSWERS! I CANT STOP THINKING ABOUT IT!!!!

I wasn't sure if the old man had a child, or if it was like a grand son or something etc..

I didn't think ben died, nor audrey. Audrey supposedly makes it because of the season 3 talks they had in the works. Which never came to be. Leo supposedly lets go when he goes to yell as the sheriff walks in and they fall on him, weather he dies I dunno. I think Diane was just his tape recorder not a person he was actually sending them too. I guess because season 3 never came and FWWM did so poorly and didn't spawn sequels we'll never know. But I think it would have been some inner fight where he expelled/destroyed bob eventually. But as is he is still inhabiting cooper. They did have small talks about the comment in the show where the midget had said he'd see him in 25 yrs. They were thinking of doing something on the 25 yr anniversery. but its super doubtful.

No i didnt mean the old man i meant the guard who answers the phone and says Its a Boy!

Lol i thought Diane was the actual person he sends the tapes to.

Yeh i dont think Ben died, but Audrey should! Even though i love her, how could she survive that explosion?! seriously. She was locked to the gate, its not like she couldve ran away from it!!!

And yeh thats so weird i was just thinking about that 25 year thing! It was Laura who says that not the midget btw. If you remember the 3rd episode, the first time Cooper has the dream he is really old, maybe that dream was not just a clue mayb it was a sign of the future. Possibly 25 years later Cooper goes back there. Personally i think if Twin Peaks came back then the White lodge would play a big part in destroying BOB, it didnt seemed to mentioned much in the series. Or maybe you can only enter the black lodge every once every 25 years?

Anyway that would be awesome if Lynch and Frost got together and made a 'Twin Peaks special'. However the chances of that seem slim, but i guess we will find out in 5 years time!!!

Diane is definitely more than just a tape recoder -- at one point, I think in episode 5, Cooper asks Diane to send him some ear plugs, and she does.  :)

Yeah it's slim to none, at best we may get deleted scenes from FWWm but not an extended edition just deleted scenes in special features. I feel the black and white lodge are in the same place but fear opens one and love opens the other. Sort of like a purgatory in between. I thought the old man picked up the phone and yelled how it was a boy? meaing he had a son or grand son? I also keep reading that there is no time within the realms which is why dale was thereback in FWWM even though he didnt get in their until well after the film.

Indeed...although I do like the Lynchian reference to time via Cronus/Saturn (my avatar) within the 'redroom'...yes its on the the lil' table.

Cronus/Saturn represents limitations. He is the symbol for Father Time, for he brought all things to an end that have a beginning. Saturn's domain is patience, stability, maturity and realism. Saturn effects us by delaying rewards until they are earned.

more wikiness...and a lil something to fill in the 'void' that is my existence.

Saturn represents our limitations, our restrictions, yet it is also our inner mentor and teacher. His lessons are manifested only over time, after which we go through inner rebirth and enjoy spiritual growth. The times these life changing events can occur are usually when Saturn returns and testing takes place within different disciplines. Saturn returns every 29 ½ years with appearances at age 29, when we face the discipline of maturity; at 58, when we face the discipline of acceptance and wisdom; and at 87, few people make it to the third return.

Yes...this could well tie-in to the Saturn thing, mythology and planetary bodies.

Saturn & Jupiter (opposing deities) align themselves approx every 25 years...possibly referencing the same span as being able to enter the black lodge.  As well as 'time' (greek, mentioned previously & don't forget we see MFAP bending time etc)....Saturn is also connected to harvesting and agriculture...the gathering of garmonbozia suitably fits...wisdom & order are also characteristics of Saturn.  Jupiter is identified with thunder/lightening (zeus) and/or fire...uncontrollable forces.

Mike & Bob can be viewed as a form of Saturn/Jupiter themselves...opposing forces.

There is a statue of 'venus' in the redroom too...just to hammer it home.

And MFAP is a 'red dwarf'...a sun. lol

"A sign of the future"

 from the script FWWM:

MFAP: “Is it future? Or is it past?”
Cooper: “Where is the green ring?”
MFAP: “Someone else has it now.” (annie?)
Cooper: “That would indicate that it is the future.”

The script said that it was on Annie's hand when she goes to hospital...I think a nurse steals it though.

Cooper keeps repeating....."how's Annie?"

As i've said before, the idea behind ending TP like that is to deliberately leave things in a perpetual cliffhanger.....HOWEVER, one view that I have always held of Cooper's possession, is that he hopes to achieve three things:

1. With Bob in Cooper's body, he is isolated in a vessel, a vessel that would be quickly discovered as being possessed by Harry and Briggs, thus he could be stopped potentially, rather than running amok and hidden.

2. Cooper's 'metaphysical self' moves through the Lodge in order to find Laura and allow her to let go of her pain, and move beyond the lodges (the angel at end of fwwm)

 3. Cooper moves through the lodges in order to attempt to manipulate time, by entering Laura's dreams and his own in order to alter events, but by doing so, brings them about.

I have always thought that given all that Harry had seen - he quickly would have realized doppleganger Coop was not real Coop (now, what he could do about would be another issue)........
