I was just wondering if any of you guys could recommend a book that really captures the essence of twin peaks? Thanks Guys

There's List of Seven, which Mark Frost wrote... it was really creepy and complicated, sort of a Sherlock Holmes kind of thing.

One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. In the small town of Macondo, many mysterious events happen which are never fully explained.
Also, The Wind-up Bird Chronicle by Haruki Murakami. Mysterious things happen to an ordinary man living in Tokyo. His wife leaves him unexpectedly. Then he starts sitting at the bottom of a well for hours at a time.
