Did anyone watch Happy Town last night? It's no TP, but they did a pretty good job at making it creepy. I loved Sam Neill's character.
Er, would you like some lemonade? I also have some saltines and some apple butter. Or would you like to wash your hands? kittyvillain.blogspot.com

Did you notice that the girl that comes to town, she said she was from Snoqualmie, Washington (which is where they filmed Twin Peaks). :)

Yeah, the writers in the first two episodes have given tips of the hat to several shows they obviously have drawn from--TP (lots of references..the small town, the big factory, the sheriff's station, a strange murder, malevolent winged creature, a dark secret), X-Files (the sheriff exclaims from his hospital bed about beings whose blood is black, reminiscent of the X-Files black oil virus), and Carnivale (during the "Thaw Fest", all those carnival wagons rolling down Main St). I was glad to see Frances Conroy (the mom from Six Feet Under) has a pivotal role, and Sam Neill is great. I'm enjoying it.
