Kyle was the star guest on BBC1's The One Show this evening in the UK.

Showed the clip of him as Coop ordering breakfast and he had ample opportunities to plug the upcoming Gold boxset re-release.  Usual "misunderstandings" of TP from presenters who thought it was only about backward speaking dwarves etc.

For anyone in the UK, or with IP coding to allow them to watch it, tonight's show should appear on the BBC iplayer in the next couple of days: http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/search/?q=the%20one%20show

Cheers for posting this!

The One Show is a really poor show unfortunately. A couple of days ago I watched it because they had John Ratzenberger on, but they really waste the guests they have.

Oh dear god i can't stand that fucking show.

The presenters probably couldn't understand Twin Peaks if they tried, they're ignorant cunts.

Fuck the One Show.

I will be getting the Gold box though.  Still gonna keep my Netherlands season 2 for sentimental reasons lol

Yeah, they had Peter Gabriel on the other week....what a waste of a guest; great guy, interesting guy, but they just asked dumb dumb questions. Ah, but it's geared around light chit chat etc, light entertainment

Agreed it's rotten tv, but I stumbled across it thankfully.  Waste of having Kyle on there, but the programme is aimed at the lowest common denominator.....

"Waste of having Kyle on there"

Kyle MacLachlan has been wasted with things that are beneath him for ages.  He's a great actor, as evidenced with Twin Peaks and Blue Velvet, in fact I'd venture so far as to say his performances as Jeffrey Beaumont and Dale Cooper are two of the greatest performances of all time.  His face is modest but amazingly expressive, as Lynch said "he thinks on screen," or somewhere along those lines.

I will admit that the only thing I've seen him in recently is the dreadfully bad latest season of Desperate Housewives.  That show is garbage now, it should have ended several seasons ago.  Not that it was anywhere near great to begin with, but the first three seasons were entertaining, campy fluff.

Anyway, I'm not sure of the chances of he and Lynch working together again, but I'd love for that to happen.

I think the sad thing is that it's NOT aimed at lowest common denominator. It just seems to me extremely middle-of-the-road boring programming for your average BBC viewer. Shows like Jeremy Kyle are lowest-common-denominator but I don't really care about them because you know that only complete morons watch it.

Well, a lot of people i know watch J Kyle to 'feel better about themselves'   but it's basically to point and laugh at the scum in the zoos.

I half agree wizard, Kyles performance as Cooper is one of the most memorable, quirky i have ever seen
