I rewatched episode 16, and once again i found it heartbreaking.  Ray Wise is an incredible actor; in Twin Peaks he's both funny and tragic at the same time, a beautiful character played by an amazing actor.  I'd also really, really appreciate some recommendations for other things he's been in.  I know he's made small appearances on some TV shows recently, but not much else.  If anyone could recommend a movie he did or something that'd be awesome...

The only other thing I've seen him in is Good Night, and Good Luck. I can't remember his part much, it was a small part, but the film is very good so I'd recommend it anyway.

Was he in any other Lynch things? I can't think of anything, although there aren't many TP actors that didn't pop up in Lynch's repoertoire again.

Dead End

The director was a Twin Peaks fan, and it shows in the angles he shoots Ray from for certain reactions and the name of the wife: Laura. He gets to scream that name quite a bit.)  Campy horror comedy. I watched it twice!

 Landspeed

If only because Teresa Banks and John Justice Wheeler are also in it.

Hmmm... from his Imdb, I can recommend Cat People, Robocop, Powder, Good Night and Good Luck. and Bob Roberts (catchy title, huh?). Don't recall how big his roles are, but all worth watching if you're Netflix Queue needs filling. He has a significant role in The Chase, which also isn't bad.

Watching anything a TP actor has done has turned me on to a lot of great and terrible films! A lot of Ray's I am not brave enough to take a chance on.  Don't bother with any of the Jeepers Creepers, and test drive the pilot for Reaper before you commit. (Ray is good, the show is dumb.)

I would give his recent films Stuntmen, One Missed Call, (although I heard it was bad. Remember Grace Zabriskie was in The Grudge for 5 seconds?) and Pandemic a chance, because he has top billing in it, if someone were to twist my arm.

p.s. He was also the Dr who became Swamp Thing in Wes Craven's Swamp Thing, but a different actor plays the monster.

Ray Wise is in the "HellHoles" series; I think he shows up towards the end of episode 2 - he's also in the bloopers...
