Hello. Just want to start off by saying that i think this forum is awesome. A bunch of great threads about the world of Twin Peaks.

I'm pretty sure this has been discussed on here before but i've been searching like hell and still can't find any mention of it.

Laura's talking to Harold about BOB and when she says "Fire Walk With Me" the camera cuts to a Demon looking woman making this eerie sound, it almost looked like it was living inside of Laura? What did you guys make of that? If I'm not mistaking it doesn't show up anymore after that. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

When Fire Walk With Me was released there was no internet (fancy) and people were forced to draw their own conclusions about what things meant, which in hindsight was rather lovely. If there were no mysteries left to ponder we'd have nothing to daydream about all these years later. I suggest you come back to the board in five to ten years, when you've had time to live with FWWM for a while... You'll get more out of it that way. It's all conjecture anyway so your thoughts about the 'demon woman' are as valid as anyone else's... Whatever they might be... Having said that, it's not really a mystery... it's a pivotal scene that explains why Laura is afraid of BOB and why she allows herself to be killed... IMHO...

I ran from the noise and the silence, from the traffic on the streets

Yes.

And also, we see a like demonic person howling when Leland rolls his daughter into the sound, dead... wrapped in plastic.

Where in Laura's case, it was the vessel without conscience, in Leland's case, the conscience was still inside, grieving for his sin...

Remember that Windom's face (discolored teeth and corpse-like skin) appears thus at the end of the series., also.

All three were touched by dark forces.
