In episode 2.06, Coopers asks Mike where Bob comes from. Mike answers that he cannot reveal that information, and then lies by omitting details pertaining to the hoarding of garmonbozia by Bob. Why couldn't he tell Cooper? Do Lodge spirits see humans as inferior beings who wouldn't be able to take in the concept of Lodges and creamed corn representing fear and sorrow?

This leads me to believe that the Lodges have their own laws and constitutions, one of which states that Lodge spirits cannot divulge such information to humans. Mrs. Tremond acted strange around Donna regarding creamed corn. We never saw her again after that, presumably because she broke the rules and got taken out or jailed.

Discuss.

Windom Earl called them Dugpas. If you google that word you will find that Dugpas existed hundreds of years ago as a religous sect. I would think these Dugpas found another dimension whereby they can live forever (the lodge) and they certainly don't want that info getting out. I guess chanting Fire Walk With Me long enough does the trick. Evidently, the garmonbozia, which looks like creamed corn, keeps them alive in there. It's their only form of food as far as I can tell.

I don't believe Dugpas became the lodge spirits we know, there is nothing in Earle's words to assume that IMO... And I don't think BOB, Mike and the rest were once human... Dugpas were like the historical ones, human sorcerers who searched the Black Lodge and wanted to use its power; probably they found a way to access it, but like Earle they failed... Earle believes the BL has been accessed in the past and its power retrieved by those Dugpas, but the last episode proved that men, no matter how evil, are nothing against someone like BOB ("He is wrong") and that's why I think Dugpas didn't succeed...

I've always been attracted to the idea of BOB having such ultimate power :)

Beware of BOB

BOBBOB

When I call out no one can hear me,when I whisper he thinks the message is for him only..my little voice inside my throat,I always think there must be something that I've done or something I can do...But no one no one comes to help,he says,a little girl like you...
