Was talking to a friend about Twin Peaks, and they mentioned a wee thing they had noticed in Austrailian soap opera Home and Away....Now, i'ver not seen it or looked yet, but apparently a character has came on the scene to investigate a crime- black suit, slicked hair, love of coffee....anybody seen this?

I think that's still a bit vague to prove that it's a TP homage. I mean, I bet you could find a Cary Grant film where he's dressed in a suit with slick hair and likes coffee. :)

That reminds me of the CHARADE (where I don't know if Grant loves coffee) reference I've always thought there is in TWIN PEAKS... In TP Audrey says to Coop "There's only one problem with you. You're perfect", in CHARADE another Audrey says to Grant (who looks like Coop according to Blackie): "You know what's wrong with you: nothing!"
