Don't know if anyone will be interested, but here's a link for a Twin Peaks Role Playing Game. The owner is really looking for players :) http://bluerose.darkbb.com/forum.htm

Sounds interesting - not quite sure if I'm understanding it right as I think I understand RPG a little differently (i.e. D&D) to what it is on that site. Am I right in thinking this is essentially fanfic where you write a post about your characters reaction to something then the next user reacts, etc.? Do you have to register a character and there is a character directory? Is the first post in each section created by a mod and the characters react from there? Sorry I'm aware these questions should probably be posted on there but I've never seen one of these style RPGs before so have no idea how you go about them.
Also why is Little Nicky not a playable character? I would relish his one post existence whereupon he has the decency to promptly top himself.

Right-o I think I get the gist, shall have a go tomorrow. Incidentally nice intro to it, your character actual seems like someone that would turn up in the series.

Oh, it's great you guys are interested. Red Room, you should PM the Forum owner (Blue Rose), he can clarify your doubts about the game. I'm gonna play Chet Desmond and Annie Blackburn. Just added Chet's info on the character template section :)

I shall do that Agent, I meant to find time to go on it today but I only just got back from a holiday in Europe yesterday and unfortunately today has been spent rooting through dark areas of my rucksack seeking washing and phone calls here there and everywhere. Shall drop him a mail now as I'd love to get going on this - it could be interesting once there's a few users. I did check the Smallville one last night that's link on the advert section. Unfortunately one of the first threads I stumbled upon was a 25 posts detailing Lois offering herself up to Supes for anal... queue many thoughts re: Kryptonite condoms. On a slightly seperate note as a seperate little side project I'm about to start work on a Twin Peaks card game (a la Call of Cthulhu, Magic, etc.) that'd be free to download - I'm planning on doing all the artwork myself. There's a sample of some of my Twin Peaks fan art here - the colouring would be a little different to how it is on there, it'll be more like an old comic with benday dots. It'll take about a year to do as I'm working on a webcomic and this would just be a little side project to relax with.
Sorry to hijack the thread - RPGs and card games just go together in my head. Chet & Annie will be very interesting character choices, I like your Chet write up, it will be very intriguing to see where you take him! I'm guessing a lot of this will hinge on who chooses to be BOB, LMFAP, etc. as they need to have a good 'understanding' of how they operate in order not to mess the game up/make it a brilliant game. I've been ironing most the day and had FWWM on and so your namesake, Sam is looking pretty good right now, although I'm half tempted to try convince the mod to let Jeffries play just so he can intermitantly be thrown in to mix things up.

I really like your TP artwork Red. And the idea of the card game is really interesting. You should come in soon, I'm really curious to see how will you develop Jeffries in the game. And you're right about the Black Lodge inhabitants. I'm not sure I can fully understand Lynch's mind when it goes to that, that's why I kept myself far away from them. Not that I don't like them, of course :) And you just made me laugh here talking about the Smallville game. Can't believe there are actually threads about that. I guess we can't expect much from anyone that really takes that show seriously. Sorry if there's any fan out there :)

The RPG is brilliant! I wish I could add to it, but alas I have little imagination, so I'll just stick to reading it...

looks like a ton of fun- if you ever need an Audrey, I know her quirks, mannerisms, and speech paterns backwards and forwards. And Red Room -your artwork is absolutely outstanding. I love it beyond words. You've incorporated your own style while still maintaining the essence of the characters. I'm a big fan!

Cheers! Glad you like it... I frantically working on my webcomic to get it up by a comic fair in November when I'm getting to meet one of my comic creator heroes so the card game is on hold until then. I'm trying to figure out the mechanics of it so it'll work, but also figuring a way to make it a 1 or 2 player game. Whatever happens it'll be better than the Twin Peaks board game. You should join in the RPG, Audrey would definately make a good addition and it needs as many players as possible, it's gone a bit quite since last weekend...
