I havent been here in a few months. Is there any news or developments on the TP revival other than Kyle expressing interest?

you know, this is why I left this board in the first place. I ask a question-a real, not rhetorical question-and people read it and dont answer.

a simple 'no' would do if there is no new information.

i am talking about the internet episodes kyle (aka DALE COOPER) wanted to bring back.

all i wanted to know is if those are still planned

just, someone reply. its extremely obnoxious that 36 people read this and not one person replied, when oneo of them knows the answer.

I am one of those 36 people who read this. I read this because at first I thought, even if the topic had a question mark, that there would be some information about the webisodes. I mean, I had this weird hope that there would be something like "I heard some new rumors about some updates about the webisodes, can you confirm them?" but as it wasn't so and I didn't have any more information about the subject, meaning that I can't even tell that there isn't any updates about this, I just thought to wait for someone else to give us some updates if there are some. And if there isn't, silence will be one answer.

Most of the time I read the forum without logging in. I log in only if I really have something I want to write about. Just a simple "no" for an answer to this question wasn't something my lazy ass would think that would be important enough to log in to this forum. And I just feel it's not really constructive just to write that "I don't know if there is and I don't know if there isn't."

But as you see, I feel it's important to answer to your rant about people being obnoxious and stuff like that. I don't want you to be upset. I want you to be happy, yay! If people do not reply it doesn't mean that they don't care about you or your questions. Maybe some people just are waiting for the answer too. Maybe some people are going to find the answer but just don't write about it before they are sure. And some people are just lazy.

Thank you.

Know that I am jaded and frustrated on general. On two recent occasions I posted stuff on other forums: One a song I wrote and performed and ASKED FOR FEEDBACK, and between the 3 forums, I had about 300 views and not one reply. Meanwhile other people post their art and stuff and get a reply.

The other time, also on 3 forums (and these are ones I post on regularly), I posted a video I made (a soldier tribute, at that) and again, several views, no replies.

Its embarrassing and frustrating and it really does feel like I waste my time. So when I can't get a simple reply to something I put ALOT of time and heart and effort into, and can't get a reply to something I put little time or effort into, I just get really annoyed. Because even in my personal life, my friends and family won't look at emails I send and stuff and I always have to bring it up.

SO understand this was not an isolated rant.

I just wanted to know if there was new information because I stopped looking for a while. I have a few Google Alerts on it, but maybe my search terms are poor. "Twin Peaks" Kyle & "Twin Peaks" webisodes

the internet has killed arts. and you may be a big part of this. you can't just upload something and think that you'll get many feedbacks. it's fucking pointless anyway. the best way to get feedbacks is to leave your computer and go play your songs OUTSIDE. a friend's flat, an empty bar, streets, subway, even a fucking hospital. you have to make it happen. not just sit and wait eating chips drinking cola.

so don't get annoyed. you shouldnt get annoyed on the internet. this place is nothing. it's just fucking entertainment.

love & r n r

FWWM was supposed to be the first in a series of films that never happened. In the VHS/laserdisc era there was speculation about a directors cut of FWWM including footage not shown in cinemas that never materialised. In the DVD era New Line and MK2 both announced and subsequently cancelled special editions of FWWM that included deleted scenes. Cut to 2009 and I'm world weary, bitter and cynical...

Don't lose sleep over the 'webisodes' because they won't happen. Delete your Google alerts, stop visiting messageboards looking for updates and don't take it personally if people don't reply to your messages. That, alas, is the nature of the internet.

I don't care if people ignore my posts or (as often happens on this board) rip them to shreds, but I am touched when people send messages and say things like 'You had a point' or 'You're - ha ha - funny' or 'I like you'... then I feel a bit lost for words. I try to avoid the internet as much as possible because it makes me feel lonely and/or like the whole world has gone mad.

You don't need feedback. As David Lynch would say, you have to enjoy the doing. I started a blog and I didn't bother to promote it (I have a horror of self promotion) but I enjoyed working on it and liked the idea of people coming across it orbiting in cyberspace. It doesn't matter what other people think. If you feel taken for granted and you want people to acknowledge your existence that's a whole other problem. You should take that up with your friends and family. They're probably just busy... or they really hate what you're sending them! My family never knew quite what to make of me.

I ran from the noise and the silence, from the traffic on the streets

No response generally means "no." Not because anyone is being rude, but no one can say without a doubt, "no," in case they know something no one else does, but... you gotta leave it open for those who know.

You know?

Better than naysayers jumping up to say "Kyle was a liar looking for press, har-har." He is shooting a movie in NYC right now, so I am sure the webisode thing is far from his mind.

I have heard talks of FWWM coming to blu-ray. I am sure at SOME point, a full release will happen. I am optimistic for that.

Re: the web-series, I am just having a nerdgasm-nerdrage over the thought of being teased with the idea, just for press, but it being a lie.

I may have a hard time letting go of the idea (deep down anyway)
