I have been browsing Twin Peaks fanfiction online for the past few weeks and cannot find any fanfiction that occurs 25 years later. Me and my friends always discuss what would happen if the show was picked up 25 years after the Series Finale and what would be happening. Cooper, obviously, would still be stuck in the Waiting Room (at least, i believe he was in the waiting room??) But as for the rest of the characters we love in Twin Peaks? What is your ideal storyline for a show that occurs 25 years later??

 Note: It doesn't say in the description, but Andy and Lucy's son is not completely human... he is going to collect garmonbozia. (But at the beginning of the series that won't be known). I'm not sure what exactly happened when Lucy got pregnant, but there was always a mystery there. We never really found out if it was Dick Tremain's kid or not. So I've decided in a Rosemary's Baby-esque twist, the baby will be a "spirit" baby. I think the kid should live in a household where Lucy and Andy are living as a married couple, but Dick Tremain stops by every once in awhile to give it a bizarre, "my two dads" parenting structure.

The eventual plot climax will see Audrey's daughter being led into the forest to go to the black lodge with Lucy's son. Audrey rushes to save her and gets drawn into the black lodge herself, where she is finally reunited with Cooper. I would sort of like for Harry to be reunited with Cooper too, almost more so than Audrey. They had a definite bromance going on there... Anyway, Audrey loses her daughter and cannot save Cooper but I would still love to see them reunite. (Or can she save Cooper? I don't know...)

 I don't really cover Annie at all in my 25 Years Later Vision, mostly because I thought the Annie storyline felt very artificial. To me, Annie was a character they created to fill Audrey's place in the series finale and the episodes leading up to the series finale. When I watch Cooper/Bob in the bathroom at the end smashing his face into the mirror and say "How's Annie?", I believe that the line was originally "How's Audrey?" So, while I leave the flawed story line in place, I really have no interest in revisiting Annie at all. I presume she died, especially given her appearance in Laura's bed in the Twin Peaks movie.
