I am in Norway at the moment and have just paid £8.40 british pounds for a shitty beer....How much is it your way>

1,50 € in the bar I usually go... But I'm sure in tourist areas like Salou the beer is much more expensive, no matter which one you choose.

Depends...usually in some of the more local bars it's $2.00--though at a restaurant the other week, it was $4. At the store you can get 12 bottles for about $13 or less, depending on the brew.

Pretty much the same here. But when the students come back there will be alot of $1 drink specials downtown. But then there are the frat boys.....

Yeah--we get specials like that too. :) And on bowling nights they have an import special, where you can get Guinness, etc. for $1.50.

Tonight I tried a Mike's Hard Pink Lemonade...it was $1.25. If you dig the Mike's Hard Lemonade--you will likely like this. Proceeds go to support breast cancer research. Normally I love Guinness--so import nights are swank. I like dark, thick beers...can't get much thicker than your bottle requiring a small ball called a widget that stirs it up for you when you shake it lightly. LOL Some of the local breweries make some dandy beers as well...Pearl Street Brewery being one of them. Lots of different flavors for a reasonable price. You can get Leinenkugel's for a good price as well at most places...brewed in Chippewa Falls, WI...which is about three hours from here. I am going off on a beer rant...had a few tonight so am pleasantly buzzed...and obviously chatty. LOL

Nummers, indeed! ;) I saw it at the store and was like, "Ooh! Pink!" Much sweeter than the regular. Good stuff, Maynard. :) They go down like Kool-Aid. LOL

The new Sessions dark is the best cheap beer ever. In the bar around the corner from me, it is $1.75 a bottle. The microbrews up here are much more delicious, but can run you usually between $3 and $6, depending on the bar. -cg

If you go to one of the cafe´s by the river, a pint would be about 10-12 dollars (40-60 danish kroner) but if you go to the less fancy bars you can get a one for aboout 4 dollars (20 kr). Denmark is expensive but nothing compared to the crazy Norwegian prices!!! Ditte
