...is if they made a romance between Dale Cooper and Laura Palmer in the Lodge. To me that would be the most romantic thing ever. It would probably mean Laura and Dale being trapped in the Lodge forever, but why not? And the same actors could still be used, Kyle and Sheryl Lee. Somehow the image of Dale and Laura together in the red room has always struck my heart...

The only thing I can conceive of ever happening is some kind of short online series that would take place entirely in the red room --- like little five-minute segments of pure surrealism. I could see Lynch maybe getting into doing something like that -- maybe, big maybe.
The question is, Where have you gone?

Sorry to tell ya son but a romance between Dale and Laura is impossible - Laura was taken to the White Lodge at the end of Fire Walk With Me and poor little Dale is still trapped in the red room ( or maybe The Black Lodge - not sure which) until his 25 years are up ( which is 5 years from now)

lodge, i disagree... class always tells in the end... Cooper would of eventually `shaken Bob off` one way or another... and after that there would be moany more fierce and up and coming rivals and contenders for Bob to have to deal with... prehaps even with Coopers aid with some of them... and Coopers doppleganger... prehaps the 3 of them could of ended up being something of a team... Bob and the good cooper and the bad one.... prehaps the 3 of them could of gone on to work something out betwqeen the 3 of them... class always tells,i would of thought... (hehehehehe)

This really confused me, too. Even though it was said that Dale was trapped in the Black Lodge, wasn't he just in the red room with Laura? A few people have the theory that Dale went to the White Lodge with Laura, but I don't see how this is possible.
