Don't know if this has been posted before...didnt see from my search

This is so indescripably awesome. A show that could not be more inappropriate for children being parodied on a childrens show. And the humor is so sophisticated, only a fan of the show would get it.

That was a nice little segment. Like you said, I can't believe a show like Twin Peaks was referenced in children programming. I grinned when Cookie Monster said "Diane..." and darn fine. The birds with twin beaks was unfunny, though, but it was redeemed by the talking log.

 Wow. Thats like asking what else has Star Wars been referenced in?

 

TP refrences can be obvious, subtle, or just distantly obscure. I know the Simpsons spoofed it, I know alot got inspiration from TP...I am afraid to even go down that hole unless it was to contribute to an already established list

not a bad idea. my friend and i found a ton of funny parodies. not to mention a surf rock cover of the the main theme and the roadhouse theme
