Hi everyone. I'm in Seattle getting more photographs for my site and I'm having tremendous difficulty locating the log ladys cabin exterior and the hospital exterior. I've looked in the places I believed them to be, but haven't found them. If anyone can give me any guidance I would be so so thankful!!! Please let me know if you have any clues at all. Thank you so much. Charles

The Log Lady's Cabin is in California. Have no clue about Calhoun Memorial but I know a smart person will provide you that answer.

Thank you. The interiors of the Log Lady's cabin were shot in California, but the exterior was shot in Washington State. I'm just trying to find out exactly where as I've only got a day more in the Seattle area. :/

Also the street seen from the interior of the RR set... I'd love to know where they took the photo they used for that background. I think a sign outside reads "Carnation Barber Shop", Carnation is in Washington right? Or they used a photo of the real exterior of North Bend's RR?

I found and photographed lot of stuff that I'm eager to share with everyone once I get home to upload it to my site! expect the new additions within the coming week or so. Didn't find the Log Lady's cabin or the exterior of Calhoun Memorial Hospital:( I found a house that may well have been the one used in the show as the log lady's... trees lining up perfectly, wires in the background matching up, logs on the house the right size/configuration, etc.. but it had been renovated and painted just enough from how it looked in the show that I couldn't be sure. I'll continue to research and will find it one day. In the meantime, I'll upload all the goodies from this trip to tide y'all over! Charles

I went to Carnation (yes, it's in Washington) to find that street scene and there is a building matching the general shape of the barber shop photo outside the RR set and it is still the town's barbershop, but the building has been given an overhaul of such magnitude that it's hardly recognizable. you can go on google maps street scene to see it here:

Wow! Interesting, and I think that's the one... That little store on the right looks like the one seen through the window when Audrey dances in the RR. The barber shop sign is seen when Norma asks Ernie if he "caught anything"...
