Back in the old days, the beginning of the 90´s I had an eh öh unhealthy relationship with Twin Peaks so in my case the answer is yes. Several times every year I had dreams and nightmares about different aspects and characters. First there was this filthy BOB of course, he was sitting and observing me, I was scared but I am a typical guy so at the same time it amused me. Then I started to have dreams about Laura, to bad I didn´t write them down ´cause once you´ve forgotten a dream it´s gone with the wind. And I´m sure they were fairly original, dreams usually are. But I remember one dream clearly, BOB was with Laura and they were upstair in a room. BOB was so friendly and trustworthy but all of a sudden he snapped and started to act like a lunatic.

These days I don´t have any dreams at all, they´ve just vanished, however one can easily push the sub-conscience and start "wanting" to have them.. or just watch Fire Walk With Me a couple of times....

When I first got into the show, it was when it was first being broadcast on BBC2 back in the early 90's. After the devastating ending of Season 2, I started reading the diary of Laura Palmer spin-off novel by Jennifer Lynch.

I had a weird dream about it, and when I told my parents about it, they confiscated the book from me, and I've never seen it since...

Can't remember what the dream was about. My parents were assholes when I was kid.

Totally invaded my dreams...it was good experience and nightmerish at times. In my dreams family members would become characters and good and evil was so tangible. I was always scared in the dreams, but remember them so well today.

That sucks that your parents took your LP diary away...real weak

Sucks or not... depends how old Chicken Stu was. I absolutely adore the Secret Diary book but I ahve two daughters aged 13 and 11 and I definitely don't want them to read it yet (nor watch Twin Peaks for that matter). Good time will come but this book shows such a lot of evil in the world that it can poison thoughts of a person who is too young.

A strange thing is, since the question was asked, I don't think I have ever had a Twin Peaks dream

I mean, it's probably impossible but I really can't remember.

I was so surprised to see this topic-I was shocked to see that other people were affected like me. TP has decidedly affected my dreams-usually when I start to re-watch the episodes. Sadly they are usually nightmares and I wake up freaked out- and then can't back to sleep. But TP is totally worth it...

Not exactly about the charecters or anything, but I used to have a recurrent dream when I was a child, and thats one of the reasons I got in to Peaks so much when I was 15, as soon as I saw it, it reminded me of my dreams.

I used to dream that I went walking in the woods with a lady, she was nice but there was a bad feeling in the woods, in the air.   We stopped at a huge tree, she got a key out of her pocket and opened the tree, inside was a suit of armour in a glass case.   She opened the glass case and took the suit of armour out and put it on.   I was upset cos I couldnt see her face anymore, so I climbed into the glass case inside the tree to hide, and the door slammed shut and I was trapped ina  room with blue floor, blue rippling silk curtains and strange shapes in the darkness.

It wasn't horrible and terrifying, the feeling was more one of mystery.

I had that dream hundreds of times as a child, and when i saw Peaks, it was a bit like an echo of a dream

the first time i watched the series i didn't, because i would be watching it once a week. but now, over the past week i have watched it non stop and have now finished, last night i awoke because i saw bob in my dreams, but i was in my bedroom and he was hiding behind my bed and looking at me, i honestly screamed, not laura palmer screamed, but still.. i think bob is most frightening character i've seen on screen because he's always there but in the face of an apparent loving husband, father and respected man.

I've had a lot of Twin Peaks dreams, but many I can't remember too well. One of the prominent ones that stuck with me was one where I was in the forest (or a forest) and saw BOB running through the trees, but he was very fast. I start to chase after him, but can't catch up to him...all I hear is his taunting laugh echoing through the woods. I keep running for a while, and I eventually run into a really thick bush/pine area where it's hard to see, and after venturing through it a bit, I see BOB staring right at me from a few feet away, and he comes at me with a smile. And then I wake up.
