Have you checked out Lolita: A Casebook (Casebooks in Criticism)?

Other than the obvious themes of abuse and predators and young girls, I think that author's connections were tenuous at best.

The connections are too obvious. Lolita as an archetype for any narrative about middle class incest and dualism works very well.

The chess/dualism argument needs to be developed more.
