is obama a secret zoroastrian?

vodka-- good for your heart?

gays-- how much are they molesting our kids?

phrasing your lies and assertions as a question-- a valid journalistic technique?

Nefud, turn on ANY news outlet other than Fox News (MSNBC, CNN, etc.) and you will see the polar oppposite on their programs.  Go figure.  I don't know why you are concerned about the lone conservative voice in the vast liberal wilderness.

i'm by no means defending any other major news network, they are all scum, i just happen to dislike fox's flavor of scummyness more than the others.

i made my wife mad because i wouldn't stop yelling at rachael maddow the other day (it was a hard day and i was going crazy from work stuff). she just wouldn't shut the fuck up about newt calling sotomayor a racist, and had the nerve to shit all over newt's apology/explanation ("'racist' shouldn't've been applied to her as a person") when that's actually a pretty valid connotation.  i mean newt's a horrible human being, but trying to manufacture outrage like that is just sickening

I always pictured you living out your existence like Ted Nugent.

Is this what you're talking about?
That's the first time I've seen that show and I can't see the reason anyone would willingly watch these tittering smug assholes even if they share their political views.

yeah. i watch MSNBC once in a while, but it's an EXTREMELY guilty pleasure and half the time the left-leaning bias is thick enough that even i can't enjoy it.

Are Rachel Maddow and Sean Hannity twins?  They even have the same hair.

Perfectly related - Drudge this morning:

ABC TURNS PROGRAMMING OVER TO OBAMA; NEWS TO BE ANCHORED FROM INSIDE WHITE HOUSE Tue Jun 16 2009 08:45:10 ET

On the night of June 24, the media and government become one, when ABC turns its programming over to President Obama and White House officials to push government run health care -- a move that has ignited an ethical firestorm!

Highlights on the agenda:

ABCNEWS anchor Charlie Gibson will deliver WORLD NEWS from the Blue Room of the White House.

The network plans a primetime special -- 'Prescription for America' -- originating from the East Room, exclude opposing voices on the debate. ...

Prepare yourself for the outrage to come by imagining how it would have been had Bush done something similar with the one network -- cable network, that is --  thought to be in his camp.

Well, at least no one will be able to try to defend ABC as one of the "unbiased" (read: not FOX) stations anymore.

If you had been spanking naughty girls all day long your palms would be pink too. And had it been Bush instead of Obama he'd have the body of a football player instead of a sissy liberal.

actually, wouldn't the bottom line be: all current news media sucks

None of it is fair, balanced, and very rarely good journalism.

Dennis Potter (sorry i do keep going on about him) summed up the danger that is 'Murdoch' far, far better than any other member of the human race has and this was all well before folk even really appreciated the inherent dangers...this was during his last interview with Melvyn Bragg, only weeks from his death.

The fact that Potter named his own pancreatic cancer after the aforementioned Mr Murdoch...probably tells you all you need to know, but I do think that watching this poignant interview is essential and that it can only enrich your life...by doing so.
